The Tehri district administration has begun preparations for the Nagraja Sem-Mukhem temple fair, held triennially from November 25 and 26 near Lambgaon in the Pratap Nagar region.

Tehri CDO Ahmed Iqbaal reviewed the preparation for the temple fair at a meeting held at New Tehri today. He directed the officials concerned to make adequate arrangements of parking, drinking water, electricity etc for the devotees visiting the fair.

He also directed the officials to repair all the damaged roads leading to the temple on priority basis. The Jal Sansthan and Tehri Hydro Electric Corporation (THDC) officials were asked to ensure the availability of drinking water through tankers near the fair area.

Iqbaal also directed the officials to create an alternative route, considering the large number of people who would visit the temple.
