A documentary about her struggle with Multiple Sclerosis has been picked up by Discovery+ and she's had her first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
And Selma Blair was upbeat as she posed for fun Instagram snaps she shared Monday.
The actress, 48, posed topless on the beach wearing just a pair of red swimwear bottoms and using a large sun hat to cover the top half of her body.

Blair was barefoot in the sand as she stood among rock pools with the ocean behind her.
In a second photo, she is seen doing a high kick with one arm outstretched high above her head and with a big smile on her face.
'Spring break 2021 has me appreciating these beach days more than ever, she shared in the Instagram caption.

A couple of weeks ago, the Cruel Intentions and Hellboy star shared images on social media showing her receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.
She had been eligible for the jab as someone with an underlying condition that makes her more vulnerable to a severe case of the coronavirus.
On the video clip, Blair tagged her good friend and Cruel Intentions co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Selma Blair stunned fans on Monday after she shared a topless photo of herself during a trip to Palm Springs. Looking absolutely flawless, the 48-year-old beauty sacrificed wearing a top by just rocking a pair of beige flared trousers.
The snap saw the Hollywood actress hold one arm up over her head with a cane in her hand as she posed up a storm in some deserted land. Selma also made sure to protect her modesty by adding a white star GIF over herself.

In the caption, she wrote: "Impromptu shoot off the highway. Palm Springs desert. New Wyllis pants. Why ruin a great outfit with a top? I wish I may. I wish I might, I wish upon this star tonight, stay safe..."
Fans of the star rushed to applaud the picture, with one writing: "I see this picture and think she is dancing and saying, 'Secret society.'" Another remarked: "I think more of us should be as brave as you and do the same!" A third post read: "This literally makes my entire year."
However, one follower was concerned over Selma's tiny frame and asked whether it was down to her treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). To which, the actress replied: "No. Treatment made me very puffy. I am a naturally thin person mostly.

"I don't always eat big portions now because digestion has changed and ability to keep food down. I happen to enjoy thin on me, if nourished. I wear the same clothes as always so..."
The mum-of-one was diagnosed with MS in 2018, and has since undergone treatment to help her deal with the debilitating effects of the disease.
She chose to announce her diagnosis via Instagram in 2018. Captioning a photo, Selma wrote: "I have #multiplesclerosis. I am in an exacerbation. By the grace of the lord, and will power and the understanding producers at Netflix, I have a job. A wonderful job.

"I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS. But we are doing it."
Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. It typically begins between the ages of 30 and 50 and it is more common in females. Once you have been diagnosed, it stays with you for life and currently, around 100,000 people in the UK have it.

Selma Blair is living loud, proudly putting herself out there again and again, not letting her illness keep her down.
And she does NOT give a rat’s ass what some hater on Instagram thinks.
Since revealing last October she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the Hellboy star has been posting pics of her most intimate, painful, soul-crushing moments living with the disease. These include days trapped in bed by unbearable pain and when she had to shave her head because of a new treatment.
But over the weekend what she posted was not just a happy and healthy moment, it was a damn sexy one!

And we weren’t the only ones — several of Selma’s celeb pals left sweet comments on the sweet patootie pic!

Selma Blair just shared a photo on Instagram of herself executing a perfect dive. At first, it’s like “whoa, Selma has amazing form!” but then you realize you can totally see her bare butt. So…there’s a backstory to this.
On Wednesday, Selma (who has multiple sclerosis) shared a photo of herself on Instagram preparing to dive into a pool. Given that Selma uses a cane to walk and has mobility issues, this was kind of a BFD. Well, just as Selma prepared to take the plunge, her 8-year-old son Arthur came out of nowhere and pushed her in, leaving Selma flailing as she fell.
“Preparing to dive. A very big deal for me,” she wrote in the caption. "Instead, I felt a tiny hand on swimsuit and lost any coordination.” Her hashtags were hilarious: #terror #punkkid #payback is coming.”
Fast-forward to that gorgeous dive pic … “Victory. I don’t give up. #bottomsup my boy is a #crackup@kidarthursaint,” Selma wrote in the caption.
Selma, who was diagnosed with MS more than a year ago, has been very candid with fans about her mobility issues. She often uses a cane for balance and occasionally uses an Alinker walking bike to help her get around.
Selma recently revealed that she had been away from home for months to undergo treatment for her MS. One fan asked in the comments what differences she's noticed after having stem cell treatment, and she responded with this: "I can dive!"
