The Past 30 years on Mother Earth was A J o u r n e y (I won't say like no other 😊, as I haven't been to another planet yet, at least physically 🌅), but I can say the last 7 years had their special flavor, now getting 8 years old 😊🕊, starting with my 1st Service Birthday in 2013, with kids of prisoners at a prison in Nairobi, Kenya and Kept going through the years (list of other Service Birthdays listed below) feeling more alive with Service Birthdays that reminded me we Humans came as a gift to this world.

This year things are changing very fast, and this specific time with Covid 19 outbreak

>people staying at home

>big portion of societies struggling to keep up with the change

>brothers and sisters in the health care going extra miles physically and emotionally

>Authorities/Leaders in government and businesses trying hard to respond and adapt to these sudden changes

And asking myself to what small act of service I can extend through these tough times, and assessing some of the well-being tools I have been learning and teaching through my journey of studying human well-being. I wanted to dedicate my 8th Service Birthday to a cause that can respond to and in a small way serve the above listed groups of people, from one service umbrella of well-being services I termed Self Engineering, @SelfEngineering ሰብዓዊ ምህንድስና to let people tap into themselves and thrive in these rapidly changing times, also, where after I will continue to serve our society with this line.

This year's Service package will have multilevel contents from well-being challenges for stay-at-home community members, to podcasts and meditations for coping with tough times and also boosting immunity and with custom designed contents for health care professionals and active leaders and authorities, for the weeks to come. And I plan to do most of the contents in Amharic (would be one of the challenges for me 🙈) to reach to many local beneficiaries.

The open participatory online Community Well-being Challenge will be Launched on Apr. 20/2020
