"Sein oder Nichtsein, das ist hier die Frage?" sagt der Held von Shakespeares Tragödie, Prinz Hamlet. Man kann sagen, dass die gesamte Renaissance wie Hamlet oder Miguel de Cervantes' Held Don Quijote war – Humanisten, die leidenschaftlich danach strebten, die Welt zu verbessern, zu „korrigieren“, an die unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten des Menschen glaubten, vom Triumph der Gerechtigkeit träumten alle, aber er wusste nicht, wie er es erreichen sollte, indem er nach Intuition handelte wie Hamlet oder naiv wie Don Quijote.
Aber selbst in ihrem Niedergang ändern prominente Humanisten ihre Ideen nicht. Der Franzose Michel Montaigne, der in seinem Land lange blutige Kriege zwischen Katholiken und Protestanten miterlebt hat, hat in seinem Buch „Erfahrungen“ viele traurige Schlussfolgerungen und Zweifel reflektiert. Doch dann merkte er trotz allem alles:
„Glückseligkeit und Glück, mit denen die Tugend leuchtet, erfüllen alles, was damit zusammenhängt, mit einem hellen Glanz ... Und einer ihrer Hauptvorteile ist die Verachtung des Todes; es gibt unserem Leben Ruhe und Gelassenheit, es erlaubt Ihnen, seine reinen und friedlichen Freuden zu kosten ... “Montaigne hat der Bildung und Erziehung viel Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt:
„Lassen Sie den Lehrer den Schüler nicht nur nach den Worten der abgeschlossenen Lektion fragen, sondern auch nach der Bedeutung und dem Wesen davon, und beurteilen Sie die Vorteile, die er gebracht hat, aber nicht nach der Erinnerung an sein Haustier, sondern nach seinem Leben. ”
Das Konzept der universellen Aufklärung, deren Aufgabe es ist, die menschliche Gesellschaft zu verbessern, ebnete bereits den Weg für eine neue kulturelle Ära.
Die Renaissance in den europäischen Ländern war eine Zeit des beispiellosen Aufstiegs des menschlichen Geistes. Der Mensch begann nach äußerer und innerer Unabhängigkeit in der Welt zu streben. Die Ideen des Humanismus bildeten die Grundlage für die Weiterentwicklung von Wissenschaft, sozialem Denken, Literatur und Kunst. Bis heute wendet man sich dem zu, was die Schöpfer der Renaissance geschaffen haben – das hilft uns, uns selbst zu verwirklichen, die Fragen der Weltanschauung zu klären, die von neuen Generationen neu gestellt werden. Und humanistische Denker beantworten sie aus den Tiefen der Geschichte.

„Reformation“ ist ein lateinisches Wort, bedeutet aber „Veränderung, Neuordnung“. Latein wurde im Mittelalter hauptsächlich von Gelehrten verwendet - Juristen und Theologen; sie waren die ersten, die eine "Reformierung" vorschlugen, d.h. zuerst die christliche Kirche und später die christliche Lehre selbst umzugestalten. Der Aufruf von Priestern und Theologen, viele Dinge im Leben der Kirche und der einfachen Gläubigen zu ändern, rief eine starke Resonanz bei den Völkern Europas hervor und hatte einen großen Einfluss auf die Geschichte einiger europäischer Länder. In den XVI-XVTI Jahrhunderten. Der Kampf zwischen den Anhängern der Päpste und den Reformatoren fand erst zum ersten Mal innerhalb der Mauern von Universitätshallen, Kirchen und Klöstern statt - die Gegner griffen bald zu den Waffen, und das erste Blut der Glaubenskämpfer wurde auf den Schlachtfeldern vergossen. Freudenfeuer loderten, auf denen nicht nur gefährliche Bücher verbrannt wurden, sondern auch ihre Autoren. Religiöse Intoleranz spaltete befreundete Familien, stellte Sohn gegen Vater und Bruder gegen Bruder auf. Die Menschen des späten Mittelalters und des beginnenden New Age waren schockiert über den gegenseitigen Hass und die allgemeine Bitterkeit, die während des Kampfes zwischen Reformatoren und Katholiken überschwappten. Briten und Franzosen, Deutsche und Niederländer erkannten allmählich, dass die Menschen neben einem wahnsinnigen Glauben an Gott auch Toleranz füreinander brauchen, die Bereitschaft, das Recht eines jeden auf seine eigenen Ansichten und Überzeugungen anzuerkennen. Die Geschichte der Reformation ist daher nicht nur die Geschichte der Kirche und des christlichen Glaubens, sondern auch die Geschichte, wie Menschen im Streben nach Gott lernten, im Nächsten einen Menschen zu sehen, der mit eigenem Willen und Entscheidungsfreiheit ausgestattet ist Lebensweg.
