Seikon No Qwaser Wiki is a FANDOM Anime Community.
An unnamed girl is tortured by the masked person
Prior to the beginning, the episode begins at night in an old church with a brunette schoolgirl bound to a wall with both hands. A masked figure appears and switches on a slew of torches. The torches are connected to a group of naked schoolgirls strung throughout the chapel via thin wires . The status of their health is unclear, but it is presumed that the torches are sucking out their soma , leaving them dead or near-dead. They have no observable injuries and exhibit no symptoms of decomposition. Their skin appears to be in excellent condition, and their lovely breasts are healthy and ripe. The masked individual tortures the girl with a knife, first stroking her crotch and making her wet her panties. Then he shreds her top, showing her breasts. The masked person kills her after letting her weep and suffer.

After the opening we get taken to a school, St. Mihailov Academy where 2 girls, Mafuyu Oribe and Tomo Yamanobe , are seen to be praying at the schools church. The is a flashback of Tomo and Mafuyu's father ( Yuudai Yamanobe ) telling them about an Icon. We also learn that their father had left. They continue on, heading towards their class, when they see Teresa , Mafuyu and Tomo stop to say 'hello'. Teresa left and the girls stayed there a few seconds before leaving for class.

Once they arrive in their classroom Tomo finds a full bucket of water with dead flowers in it, sittong on her desk. Mafuyu looks around the classroom to see who might have done it, she comes to the conclusion that Hana Katsuragi must have done it. When Mafuyu confronts Hana, Hana just begins to tease Mafuyu instead. Mafuyu gets angered by this and shoves Hana against a wall and was about to hurt her until Miyuri Tsujidou interrupts.

We are taken back to the church where Yuri Noda is talking with Teresa about soma (soma = breastmilk/holy milk). Yuri also mentions that Teresa must be worried because she doesn't know where her partner is.]

Mafuyu and Tomo are walking home from school when they come across a teenager lying on the ground. They take the kid to their home and take care of them. The girls begin to argue because Tomo believes the stranger is female while Mafuyu believes they are male. Mafuyu and Tomo decide to confirm the stranger's sex, but they disappear before the two girls can inspect their genitals.
Mafuyu goes to search for him and discovers that the church is on fire. She runs to the church to try and save her uncle's (Yuudai Yamanobe) painting. The masked person from before appears and traps Mafuyu. We then discover that the masked person is a serial killer who has killed many girls. The masked person teases Mafuyu before attempting to kill. However, right before they kill her, the kid from before shows up and saves her. It is revealed that the kid is a boy who's name is Sasha, and he is a martyr; Sasha the Martyr . To Mafuyu's surprise Teresa also comes into the church and she takes off her clothes so that Sasha can take her soma. The masked person and Sasha battle and in the end Sasha wins.

Afterwards Sasha tells the confused Mafuyu that if she cannot save herself then she is unqualified to live. Sasha also tells her that she needs to protect herself if she wishes to see tomorrow. The next day, Mafuyu goes to the church to see Teresa, but she isn't there. Mafuyu then asks Yuri, who is there, what a Qwaser is. Yuri doesn't tell her, but does say that in due course she will find out.

Back at the school a new student arrives, his name is Alexander Nikolaevich Hell (Sasha). Later when Mafuyu is questioning him Miyuri and Hana come up and annoy Sasha. He tells them off for saying his name as Sasha rather than Alexander. Sasha then takes his cue to leave.

Ketika ayah Tomo Yamanobe—mantan kepala sekolah Akademi Saint Mikhailov—menghilang, dia tidak meninggalkan apa pun kecuali sebuah karya seni yang disebut "ikon". Segera setelah kepergiannya, desas-desus tentang seorang pembunuh berantai yang menyerang siswa perempuan akademi mulai menyebar.

Saat Tomo dan saudara perempuannya Mafuyu Oribe pulang ke rumah setelah disiksa di sekolah, Tomo tersandung seorang anak laki-laki berambut perak yang terluka yang tiba-tiba menghilang saat sedang dirawat. Mafuyu pergi mencarinya, hanya untuk menemukan bahwa gereja yang memegang ikon itu terbakar. Ketika dia mencoba menyelamatkan lukisan itu, pembunuh berantai yang dikabarkan tiba-tiba menyerangnya dengan kemampuan misterius untuk mengendalikan magnesium. Muncul entah dari mana, bocah berambut perak, yang bisa mengendalikan besi, menyelamatkan Mafuyu.

Mafuyu mengetahui bahwa anak laki-laki, bernama Alexander Nikolaevich "Sasha" Neraka, adalah "qwaser"—makhluk yang mampu mengendalikan elemen melalui kekuatan "soma," yang diterima melalui tindakan menyusui. Bingung dengan cobaan itu, Mafuyu mencoba untuk melewatinya dengan sedikit keberuntungan, saat Sasha pindah ke kelasnya keesokan harinya.
