Security Update: YfDFI Finance Enlists Hacken For Audits

As YfDFI Finance draw ever closer to the release of their DeFi solutions including: Liquidity Farming (Dec 2021); Governance (Q1 2021); Swap Protocol and DEX (currently in the final stages of development); as well as Insurance and Ventures (both scheduled for release Q1 2021) the time has come to enlist the auditing services of industry-leading cybersecurity firm, Hacken.

Due to the community-centric nature that prevails at YfDFI Finance, all solutions have been, and will continue to be, developed by independent members of the community. Of course, all developments are still subject to the highest levels of review and scrutiny before taking their place within the ecosystem. One important step in this process is the auditing of all smart contract code to make certain that no bugs or potential vulnerabilities exist that would present a security risk.

When you’re composing the infrastructure for what has the potential to become the biggest Community-Run DeFi Solutions project in the entire market, you cannot settle for anything other than the absolute best regarding security. It’s not merely a matter of instilling trust amongst token holders and potential investors (although this announcement will undoubtedly achieve that), it is also a matter of sustainability and survival. One successful cyber attack can seriously undermine the credibility and success of a project.

But with the plethora of cybersecurity firms to choose from, how does one assess which firm is right for their project? YfDFI Finance decided to ditch the interview process and went straight to the top:

“[Hacken] run the most successful bug bounty platform in the entire blockchain space, HackenProof, with clients utilizing our 2000-strong whitehat hacker community to ensure that their projects are safe, secure, and trusted.” 1

Hacken are recognized as being the most comprehensive cybersecurity firm within the entire crypto ecosystem, carrying out security assessments on all platforms and providing audits for contracts across multiple blockchains. They became the first cybersecurity consultants to join the European Business Association (EBA) at the end of November 2020 and are also currently the only cybersecurity partner of the Coinmarketcap DATA Alliance. They have proven themselves time and time again and are the obvious choice to become the official independent auditors for YfDFI Finance.

Hacken conducted their first audit of YfDFI Finance’s smart contract code earlier this week and as expected no bugs or vulnerabilities were found.
