Secure Authenticator Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the conditions under which you may download, access, and use the Secure Authenticator mobile application (the “App”), provided by TeaCapps GmbH (“TeaCapps”). By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. General Provisions

1.1 Free and Premium Features

You may download and use the App free of charge. However, certain premium features may require a subscription or a one-time payment. Additionally, some functions of the App depend on an active internet connection to work properly.

1.2 Distribution Channels

The App is distributed via third‑party app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play). When you obtain the App through these platforms, you must also comply with their respective terms and policies, which are separate from these Terms of Use.

1.3 Device Permissions

To enable certain features, the App may request permission to access specific data on your device (e.g., contacts, photos, location). Such access occurs only after you explicitly grant permission. For instance, the App might scan QR codes or read contact information to set up authentication. You can revoke or modify these permissions at any time through your device’s settings, in accordance with your operating system.

2. Intermediary Role

The App may include search functions or links that direct you to external websites offering products or services (“Websites”). In such cases, the App serves solely as an intermediary. TeaCapps is not involved in any transactions, agreements, or disputes between you and those third‑party Websites; all purchases and disputes are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective Websites.

3. Service Availability and Changes

TeaCapps strives to keep the App operational and accessible but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for backing up any data you store within the App.

TeaCapps reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features—including paid services—at any time.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeaCapps disclaims all warranties—express or implied—and will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

4.2 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TeaCapps and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your infringement of third‑party rights.

5. Additional Terms

5.1 Updates to These Terms

TeaCapps may revise these Terms of Use at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you through appropriate channels. Continued use of the App following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

5.2 Termination of Access

You may cease using the App at any time. However, if you continue to use the App after modifications to these Terms, you will be deemed to have accepted those changes.
