Victoria is bitter after her boss raped her in his office and there is nothing she can do about it for fear of being thrown into the job market.
I have been a victim ofas my boss raped me inside his office.
I got the job after searching for one for over three years and with the current situation in the country, I don't know if I will be lucky to get a new job if I leave this one.
It was in May when our branch manager sent for me and when I got to his office, he told me that he had a special assignment for me after closing hours. It was not a new thing for a staff to be told to stay back if there was something for him to do.
So I did not see anything sinister in the request, so after closing, I went to his office to let him know but he told me to wait for him at the reception hall.
I was to wait there for over three hours when he called me to come to his office. By now, almost all the staff members had gone home leaving only a handful of workers behind.
When I got to his office, my boss told me he was busy and that I should make myself comfortable while he rounded up. After like 30 minutes, he stood up, went and locked the door and came to sit beside me on the sofa.
I was shocked and asked him why he locked the door but he told me he did not want anyone to come to his office as the assignment he had for me demanded privacy.
I was still not convinced with his explanation but his next action took me by surprise as he suddenly held me and drew me closer to him. It was so sudden that before I could get my balance, he had placed his mouth over mine and pushed his tongue into my mouth.
I struggled to free myself and asked him if that was the assignment he told me he had for me and he answered by saying he had been wanting to sleep with me for a long time.
I told him I could not sleep with him as he was not only married but my boss but he was past caring as he suddenly grabbed me and threw me to the seat, tearing my top in the process.
I screamed as I fought him but he was too strong and had me pinned down and tore my clothes, leaving me almost naked.
When I knew I would not be able to fight him, I resorted to crying and begging him to let me go but he told me nothing would make him not to have his way with me.
He , after which he begged me to forgive him, that he did not know what came over me.
I was so mad at him that I did not care about what he was saying. While I tried to gather my clothes, he brought out a wad of money and gave me but I told him to keep his money and stormed out of his office, cursing him as I left.
It has been two months now and I am still hurt and bitter over the incident. I don't know if I should report him to the management or just let go. I know he will victimize me if I dare report him and the management of the bank may not take action against a senior manager.
I have not been able to tell anyone of the assault, not even my fiance or my parents but it is eating me up and my productivity has dwindled as a result.

A university club social secretary raped another student after a Freshers' week pub crawl, a court has heard.
Liam Allen, 22, from Brighton, organised a pub crawl round the city for his university military unit.
The 20-year-old victim told police she had drunk heavily after going out during a themed Freshers' week night out and could not remember getting home.
She woke to find the defendant on top of her, a jury at Lewes Crown Court in Hove heard.
Asked if she had taken any drugs on the night out, the young woman said: 'No drugs. Not that I'm aware of anyway.'
She told police Allen, a computer science student, had held her down and raped her in her own flat.
'I said stop, he pinned me down, he was holding my arms, I couldn't move him off I don't know how we got home or how it started,' she told police.
'He was on top of me and his face was in front of my face and he was holding my arms.
'I was trying to push him off me and he was holding me harder. He was just stopping me from moving.
'It was so uncomfortable and horrible. I don't know what he was doing. I think I tried to sit up.
'Every time I said stop, he would just hold me down again.
Allen denies rape as the trial continues
'I was trying to move just trying to get up off the bed, just trying to push him off.
'He was leaning over me and I couldn't move so I just lay there and waited for him to finish. He didn't say anything. He was just holding me down.
'He was making sure I couldn't move. It was horrible. I didn't want it to happen,' the young woman told police.
Rachel Beckett, prosecuting, said: 'He said he was lonely and she was a good looking girl.
'He said he was sick and twisted for sleeping with her but she was able to consent.'
Mr Allen allegedly made the comments in a phone call with the young woman and her boyfriend the day after the Crown say he raped her in her flat.
Ms Beckett said police searched Mr Allen's mobile phone. 'The defendant's phone shows search terms on October 13, 2016 which included Accused of rape, Minimum sentence for rape and CPS guidelines for rape,' Ms Beckett said.
Ms Beckett took the woman through photographs taken of her injuries.
'Did you have any bruising before going out,' she asked the young woman. 'No,' she said.
'Do you recall how that bruising came to be,' Ms Beckett asked. 'No,' the young woman said.
The court heard the rape took place at the victim's student flat in the early hours of October 12, 2016.
Ms Beckett, when outlining the case to the jury, said the young woman was in such a state she was incapable of consenting to sex with Allen.
'He took advantage of her state,' she said. 'Her next memory was lying on her back in her own bed with the defendant on top of her, holding her arms down. She told him to stop but he did not.
'She was unable to move as he had positioned himself on top of her with all of his weight,' Ms Beckett said.
Allen denies rape. The trial continues.
