Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists
The rules for category a1 apply to those who wish to ride small motorcycles. These motorcycles have a maximum cylinder capacity of 35 kW. They cannot be built from vehicles with more than double their power.
The open category drone operations can be subdivided into three categories A1 to A3. You can fly drones that have the class label C0 or the A1 in the A1 subcategory (flying over people) up to January 2024.
A1
Category A1 is one of the three EASA drone categories that applies to aircraft that have a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of up to 25 kilograms. It requires a flight schedule and an account of flight along with remote identification systems and a geoawareness system. The drone must also be within sight of the pilot at all at all times. It is not permitted to fly over groups of people or in areas that are utilized for industrial, commercial or recreation reasons. The drone must remain below 120 meters.

The applicants for an A1 license must have at least 16 years of riding two-wheeled motor vehicles. They must also have completed the mandatory basic training and passed both a theory and practical test. Moreover, they must possess an official medical certificate.
A1 license holders are able to drive mopeds with an engine capacity of not more than 1250cc, and a power-to-weight ratio that is not more than 0.01 kW/kg. They are also able to drive motorcycles with the capacity of cylinders that are not more than 125 cc, as in addition to quad bikes and trikes.
The category A1 licence is designed to allow drivers to get to the next category of vehicle. This allows them to drive vehicles that have the maximum weight of 35 kW. This is a reason to gain some experience driving vehicles with less power before moving on to the higher category of licence.

A2
If you've completed your CBT training and are planning to obtain a motorcycle licence You may be eligible for a category A1 licence. This permits you to operate a small motorcycle without a sidecar. The motorcycle must have the capacity of 125cc, and the maximum power output of 11kW. You must be at least 16 years old to get this licence. You can also fly in the A2 category with drones with a mass of up to 4kg however, you must keep them at a safe distance from other people during take-off and landing. The separation distances are vertical, not lateral and drones must be kept 30m away from people who aren't involved, or 5m when in 'low-speed mode'. To fly in this category, you must also pass the A2 Certificate of Competence exam (A2 CofC).

A2 allows you to fly drones with transitional capabilities that aren't yet CE-marked but have been modified to lessen the risk of collisions with other people. These drones are only allowed to be flown in A2 up until the year 2022's end. After this, they will have to be in compliance with the A3 regulations.

A3

Drones with the Class Identification Label C2 may be operated under subcategory A2 if they meet the size requirements, and the remote pilot has passed a theoretical knowledge test. This exam is designed to assess the remote pilot's knowledge of the operational and technical mitigations that address the added risks associated with flying slightly larger drones (class C2, weighing less than 4kg mass) close to people. A successful passing of this exam will result in the awarding of the 'certificate of competence required to fly in category A2'.
There are 'transitional arrangements' that permit older drones, that are not certified, to operate under the categories A1 or A2 for two years following the implementation of the new EU regulations. Legacy drones must not be flown over people and must carry an A2 CofC.
To operate a drone under this category, you must first take the online test for identification of flyers and then pass a theory test. You must also declare that you have some actual knowledge of your drone and submit a written declaration of competence. These requirements are similar to the driving license model in that drivers who first get their license for a vehicle in a lower category is then able to move on to an upper category.
A4
The DOH is currently preparing guidelines for category A4. redirected here will be consistent with other procedures and include details like the number of dressing changes per day. These guidelines will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections, (IATF-EID) and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. The IATF-EID and DOH's National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization will examine and approve the guidelines prior to being finalized.
Drones bearing the class identification label C0 or C1 are able to be flying within 50 metres of those who aren't involved in the incident. This is a low-risk category, but strict precautions are required to reduce incidents. Drones that do not fall in either A1 or A2 must pass an additional test of knowledge in order to be able to operate in this subcategory.
This test is designed to assess your knowledge of the additional risks that come with flying drones near people. The successful completion of the test will result in an official certificate of competence for this subcategory. The pilot must also maintain a minimum distance of 30 meters from any person who is not involved or 5 metres if flying in a slow-flying mode.
You must take a certain amount of lessons to pass the theory test and then you have to pass the practical test. This amount varies depending on your age, skill level and learning speed. A minimum of 12 90-minute lessons must be completed.
