Search Engine Optimization For Beginners

Search Engine Optimization for starters is a process of creating high quality backlinks. Backlinks are incoming links to your website from other websites.

The more backlinks you have, the better off you will be. You'll get more hits and viewability on Google. And most importantly, you'll increase your search engine positioning.

For people new to search engine optimization for starters, it can be intimidating. There are thousands of books, courses, programs and self-help programs on how to build backlinks.

I personally used dozens of these in my early days. Some were really good and provided step-by-step instructions. Others, while providing information, left me feeling daunted and confused. I'm going to share with you what worked for me and what I would NOT recommend.

I've known of several methods that I used that got me some decent search engine positioning, but did nothing to help with my backlink building. I would get one or two backlinks from each of the sites I was promoting and it didn't help much. I figured there must be something I was doing wrong, so I started researching further.

After much research, I realized that I needed to increase the number of quality backlinks to my site. It's important to build backlinks slowly and naturally to make sure that Google thinks your site is credible. I started looking into natural methods of generating backlinks such as guest blogging, article submission, social bookmarking and forum posting. Most of these methods took a lot of time and effort, which I didn't have when starting out.

With these methods, you need to write articles that contain relevant keywords that are also in your niche. Your articles need to be unique in every way to avoid duplicate content penalties.

You also want to keep your backlinks natural looking. I looked into creating my own backlink building method that was not only natural looking but also allowed me to easily submit them across the many thousands of websites on the Internet.

Once I had found a method that was easy to use and offered consistency in numbers, I started submitting articles one at a time to various article directories and forums.

After submitting several articles, I began to notice a steady increase in the number of quality backlinks that I was getting. My search engine ranking went up dramatically, but I didn't think that it was enough.

I had to keep submitting new content just to get my search engine position back up. I soon realized that if I kept submitting articles like I was doing now, eventually my search engine optimization for beginners efforts would pay off.

One of the biggest challenges when it comes to search engine optimization is finding a good way to get free backlinks. The fastest and most effective way to get a lot of backlinks is to offer something of value for free in exchange for a backlink.

For example, if you build a site that offers free information, offer to put a link back to that site on your own website. Many bloggers get a lot of their backlinks this way because they have built up credibility with their readers.

In my case, I did not have a product or service to offer, so the backlink value was not as valuable as it could have been. However, what I do know is that I have now been able to increase my search engine optimization for beginners traffic by leaps and bounds. I also have a list of high DA backlinks that I use almost every single day to promote my website. If you are new to search engine optimization for beginners, take the time to consider building backlinks and increasing your DA.
