Scout Willis does not agree with Instagram's anti-nudity policy . In protest, she took her top off and went for a walk in New York City (where it's legal for women to walk around topless) and posted the photos to Twitter.
"Legal in NYC but not on @instagram," the 22-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, wrote along with a topless photo of herself stopping to look at some flowers on May 27. Willis also posted another topless photo of herself walking down the street , which she captioned, "What @instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple."
We're not exactly shocked that Willis was game to post topless photos in protest given that she wore a completely sheer top with no bra to Nylon and BCBGeneration Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles on May 8.

Scout LaRue Willis — daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis — bares it all in a new video for her song “Love Without Passion.”
Willis, 30, appeared completely vulnerable on screen, with only her brunette tresses covering her body.
“I’ve never worked harder on anything in my life, both internally and externally,” she wrote in a heartfelt message on Instagram. “I could not be more thrilled to birth this baby into the world.”
She wrote the song, she said on Instagram, “in the midst of profound heartbreak, hope, confusion, tenderness and growth.” She recorded it to share her vulnerable side with people, she added, with the intent of it keeping her listeners “company,” as it did her.
For Willis, who is most known for her acting role in 1995’s “The Scarlet Letter,” this is her first released song.
“I look back at the journey this broken heart led me on and have nothing but deep gratitude for everything that occurred,” she wrote on Instagram, adding, “trusting and knowing that every moment of it was in service of my uplifting and awakening.
“You are my future but not my present,” Willis sings in the song multiple times. “I’m working on accepting love without possession.”
Demi Moore congratulated her daughter on social media, posting a clip from the video and writing, “I have learned so much watching you move through this experience in such a loving, thoughtful, focused and meaningful way.”
She added that she’s excited for the world to hear Willis’ voice, and that she’s proud of her daughter.
“So thrilled for people to know you,” Moore wrote. “Congratulations, my angel! I love you so much.”
Willis’ sister Tallulah even took to Instagram to post a celebratory message, writing in all caps, “I see you. In every piece of who you are, who you’ve been and who you’ve become.”
She added that the song is a “tender soul trenched melody” that she “had the gift of watching come to life many moons ago.”
In the comments, Willis’ notable friends cheered her on.
“I can’t wait,” wrote both actress Allie Marie Evans and author Laura Day, while others responded with heart emojis.
Meanwhile, model Bella Hadid took to Willis’ comments section to share her adoration for the single, writing, “Soooooo beautiful!”
“It’s the medicine we need and deserve,” wrote a fan, whose comment was among hundreds in support of the song.

Scout Willis, the 22-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, walked around New York City sans top on Tuesday to protest Instagram's policy on nudity. The photo-sharing app deleted Willis' account after she shared photos that violated its community guidelines, so she tweeted a picture of her shirtless walk through the Lower East Side with the caption "Legal in NYC but not on @Instagram." Then, she shared a second, similar photo with, "What @Instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple." That hashtag caught the attention of Rihanna , who was recently banned from Instagram for posting a topless picture of herself. It's fitting, then, that Willis has now changed her Twitter profile picture to the very image that ended Rihanna's account.

Willis has taken her time in the spotlight to remind the world that this isn't an issue specific to her, nor is it just about topless photos. She's pointing out inconsistencies she sees in what Instagram defines as "flaggable" material. For example, she's posted images of breast cancer survivors , men showing their nipples, men getting lap dances , and other images where a covered, female nipple is allowed. Before her account was deleted, she also reportedly changed her name to Scout (Areola) Willis to highlight the app's arbitrary policies on nipples.
Though women are technically allowed to be topless in NYC, it's worth noting that it's not as black-and-white a law as it sounds. Photographer Allen Henson has illustrated the gray areas of women's topless rights by attempting to photograph them that way in Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building . Both events resulted in police action, and one in a lawsuit against Henson. There are, however, groups working to eradicate such problems. Elizabeth Siematkowski , for example, has founded ToplessbladingTM, a rollerblading coalition and self-proclaimed "social, cultural movement."
While each social network will have its own guidelines, Willis has successfully shown how some of these policies are in need of evaluation. ( People )

And on Sunday the middle child, Scout Willis, reminded fans that she was still a wild child as she posed topless and with her white undies on as she sunbathed with her sister Tallulah.
The 26-year-old artist, who is a poster girl for the Free The Nipple movement, is the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.

Scout held her bare breasts as her brunette locks cascaded down her front.
She was revealing a small tattoo that appeared to be of the North star on her chest.
The LA and Idaho raised girl also had on white Hanes underwear. She sat with her legs open on a grey lounger in a back yard.
Scout also had on orange-tinted aviator sunglasses.
And the star added a brown hat as she flashed a beautiful emerald ring.
Also there was her sister Tallulah.
She looked comparatively tame in her white one-piece swimsuit.
The budding artist and fashion designer looked chic matching white frame sunglasses.

The only Willis sister missing was Rumer, who is an actress and singer who gained a big following after winning Dancing With The Stars.
Scout often steps out in sheer tops to show off her chest.
She has said that if men can show their nipples, women should be able to as well.
In May 2014, Scout declared her support for the Free the Nipple campaign by posting a series of photos to social networking site Twitter showing her walking through New York City completely topless.
'What Instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple,' the star wrote alongside the intimate snap.
