Because the Scorpio feels things so intensely, they appear to be extremely private, and almost secretive. However, when a Scorpio does speak, others should watch out, for they speak the absolute truth, whether it be good or bad. A Scorpio will remain silent rather than water down their opinions with feelings. Social, changeable, and prone to flights of fancy, the air signs may be too outgoing and inconsistent for intense and private Scorpio. Scorpio needs a partner who can ultimately smooth and/or provide a stabilizing influence.
Jealous The Scorpio tend to be extremely possessive, jealous and envious. And the jealousy more often than not disturbs their relationships and affects their peace of mind. Usually they are jealous and envious of other people and they go behind the back.
Secretive They find it extremely difficult to trust people and are therefore very secretive. The Scorpio will not let people easily know what’s going on in their mind or life.
Resentful The Scorpio are very sensitive and can get hurt easily by negative treatment and comments. So, they will try to get even with those who dared to insult or harm them.
Manipulative They are Not among the Bravest Zodiac Signs so they use manipulation to accomplish their goals. Manipulative and domineering as they are, Scorpio-born have a knack of getting things done their way. They also try to learn more about your strengths and weaknesses. Do not be fooled by their kind nature, they change their mind a lot. They will manipulate you to think everything is against your own word.

Are you a Scorpio, or dating a Scorpio? What are Scorpios like? What signs are most and least compatible with Scorpios? Is your sign compatible with them?
In this article, I'll answer all of those questions and offer relationship advice for Scorpios and their partners. If you're a Scorpio or find yourself romantically interested in one, you have to check out this guide to Scorpio compatibility.
Scorpios have a number of positive attributes. They're loyal, passionate, ambitious, and resourceful.
On the negative side, they're jealous, stubborn, manipulative, and obsessive. Not ideal traits for successful relationships.
Scorpios are known for being extremely independent and they always like to be in control. They don't want to take a backseat to anybody. For example, Hillary Clinton is a Scorpio. So is Whoopi Goldberg.
Don't ever wrong a Scorpio. They can hold a grudge, and they don't forget. Also, if they feel wronged, they may seek revenge. Scorpios can be a tad vindictive. Uh oh. On the other hand, if you do something kind for a Scorpio, your gesture will be remembered and appreciated.
They're goal-oriented and driven; they're relentless in pursuing their dreams. In part, they're motivated by a fear of failure.
It can be hard to get a read on Scorpios. Even though they're passionate people, they often don't show their emotions.
Keep all of this in mind as we dive into Scorpio compatibility next.
A Scorpio needs somebody who is genuine and honest. Scorpios don't trust or forgive easily, and they appreciate somebody who will be candid.
A Scorpio's partner has to be patient because Scorpios can be very unpredictable. They'll often change their plans in the middle of an activity, and they can be emotionally unpredictable. They can quickly vacillate between happy and angry. Also, they don't fall in love easily, so a Scorpio's partner must understand that Scorpios take time to form strong emotional attachments.
Furthermore, Scorpios value intelligence in their significant others. You gotta be smart to hang with a Scorpio.
Finally, a Scorpio needs to be with somebody who is incredibly respectful. Even though Scorpios like to tease, they don't like to be teased. Because they won't tolerate feeling slighted, they need to be with somebody who will treat them with the utmost respect. This is important for Scorpio compatibility.
The worst people for Scorpios are controlling. Scorpios are extremely independent and don't want to relinquish control. Trying to control a Scorpio won't work and won't be appreciated.
Also, if you're argumentative, you won't mesh well with a Scorpio. Scorpios have very strong opinions, and they don't want to have their opinions challenged by their partners.
If you have a problem with monogamy, avoid Scorpios. Scorpios in love are jealous and possessive. If you're overly flirtatious or succumb to temptation, you will endure the Scorpio wrath. You don't want to endure the Scorpio wrath. All of these attributes make you incompatible with Scorpios.
From studying astrological signs, I've made a complete table scoring the compatibility of Scorpio and each astrological sign in three categories: romance, sex, and communication.
Each category was scored on a scale of 1-3 hearts. One heart = low compatibility, two hearts = medium compatibility, and three hearts = high compatibility.
The most compatible signs with Scorpio are Cancer, Pisces, and Virgo. They're flexible and accepting of Scorpio's strong personality and need to be the boss.
Scorpios and Cancers have much in common, and their differences are complementary.
They share an emotional intensity that helps form their bond. Also, they both like privacy, they're loyal, and they're intuitive. Because they're both intuitive, the sex is good. They both can tell what the other person wants. Oh yeah!
Cancers are nurturing and that helps ease Scorpio's insecurities. Cancer is ruled by emotion, and that's good for Scorpio, which has strong emotions but is tentative to express them.
Furthermore, Cancers are more flexible, which works well since Scorpios don't like to compromise.
Scorpio and Pisces also tend to be a superb match. The loyal, gentle nature of Pisces is good for Scorpio because Scorpio is hesitant to trust.
Also, Scorpio wants to be a leader and Pisces is content to follow. Scorpio wants to take the reins and Pisces is much more adaptable to a partner's needs and wishes. Scorpio is strong and protective, and Pisces is willing to be vulnerable.
Additionally, Pisces is very romantic and complements the passionate nature of Scorpio. The sex works well because they're both very emotional, so love-making is full of passion.
Finally, they're both prone to dramatic mood swings; they alternate between highs and lows, so they can understand the emotional nature of their partners. Of course, the intense highs and lows in their relationships can lead to drama.
Virgo is much more meek and unassuming, which fits well with the strength and aggression of Scorpio. Virgo is attracted to Scorpio's confidence, and Scorpio likes that she won't be challenged by Virgo.
Because Virgo allows Scorpio to take control, Virgo is able to bring out Scorpio's gentler side. There's no need to battle for domination. In the bedroom, Scorpio also takes control, and both parties are perfectly fine with that.
They're able to complement each other and have a less volatile relationship than typical for Scorpios due to Virgo's calming influence. Virgo is more analytical while Scorpio is more emotional.
Virgo and Scorpio also have similarities that enable their success in relationships. They both appreciate solitude and crave a little alone time. They're good with money, and overspending never becomes an issue.
The signs with the least Scorpio compatibility in love are Gemini, Aquarius, and Sagittarius.
Geminis don't possess and can't relate to the emotional depth of Scorpio.
Additionally, Geminis are social butterflies while Scorpios can be a tad antisocial. This can be a source of conflict because Geminis prefer to constantly be around people and Scorpios need their alone time.
In the face of conflict, playful Gemini may resort to teasing, which can irritate Scorpio.
Ultimately, the main source of conflict between these two is that Scorpio finds Gemini superficial, and Gemini thinks Scorpio is a real downer.
Scorpio eventually sees Aquarius as being emotionally shallow and distant. Throughout the course of their relationship, there's a battle between the intellectual analysis of Aquarius and the emotional needs of Scorpio.
Aquarius can be rather blunt and harsh in arguments, and Scorpio may not be willing to forgive or forget what Aquarius says.
At least the sex tends to be good. Both show a willingness to try new things, and the make-up sex can be addictive.
Scorpio and Sagittarius have contrasting qualities that are likely to lead to conflict.
Scorpio is mysterious and private while Sagittarius is open and blunt. Scorpio is hesitant to reveal herself, and Sagittarius will tell her life story to strangers.
Scorpios tend to be rather deep while Sagittariuses like to keep things light. It bothers Scorpio that Sagittarius doesn't take things seriously enough.
Sagittarius enjoys a hearty debate and Scorpio doesn't like to be challenged. Furthermore, Sagittarius can be blunt and insensitive in arguments. Scorpios don't appreciate this insensitivity, and it's likely to bring out their anger.
Finally, Scorpio likes to save and is wise with money; Sagittarius can be impulsive and reckless.
Here are brief descriptions of Scorpio's compatibility with the other signs.
Scorpio is attracted to the passion of Aries, but it may be hard for Scorpio to get Aries to commit. However, the sex is on point because both signs are extremely passionate.
Scorpio is much more practical, and Aries is more whimsical. The key to a healthy relationship between these two is for Aries to commit and for Scorpio to not become too jealous.
Taurus is one of the few signs that understands Scorpio's jealousy and finds it flattering. Also, Scorpio and Taurus are both extremely loyal, thrifty, and ambitious.
Taurus is much more laid back while Scorpios are known for their emotional intensity. The biggest problems between these two are that they're stubborn and have bad tempers. They need to control these traits in their relationships.
Leos and Scorpios both have strong personalities, and both like to be in control. They're very loyal, even though Scorpio is likely to doubt Leo's loyalty, because Leo has a naturally flirtatious nature that will provoke Scorpio's jealousy.
On the positive side, the sex is passionate and explosive. They have undeniable chemistry.
In the long-term, there's a potential battle between Leo's pride and Scorpio's desire to be in control.
In many respects, Scorpios and Libras are opposites. Scorpio is emotional and Libra is analytical. Scorpio keeps a small social circle and prefers deep connections; conversely, Libra likes to engage in light conversation with many people. Scorpios are more intense and Libras keep it casual. For a relationship between them to work, they have to make compromises.
These relationships can be good because both Scorpios feel like they've found somebody who understands them. They appreciate the loyal and emotional natures of their partners.
On the other hand, these relationships can struggle because the partners are too similar. There can be a lack of excitement because there's no mystery. Also, Scorpios don't like their partners to possess the negative traits that are common in Scorpios.
Both are diligent, ambitious, and loyal. Capricorn is a little less emotional than Scorpio would like, but Scorpio can bring out the more emotional and romantic side of Capricorn. Scorpio admires that Capricorn is down to earth and reliable, and Capricorn appreciates Scorpio's passion.
Overall, this is a very good match; Scorpios and Capricorns complement each other well.
The compatibility of your signs doesn't entirely dictate whether or not your relationship will be successful. If your signs are extremely compatible, you won't necessarily have a beautiful, long-lasting relationship. If your signs aren't compatible at all, that doesn't mean your relationship is automatically doomed.
Use the information in this guide to try to understand your partner and recognize how potential conflicts can arise. If you and your partner both have a desire to be in control, maybe you can occasionally relinquish the power or make a sincere effort to have an egalitarian relationship. Let your partner make weekend plans. Resist the urge to try to correct her behavior.
Figure out what you can do to maintain harmony. If you're involved with a Leo, his friendly behavior doesn't mean he's disloyal or wants to mess around. Instead of repeatedly questioning his fidelity, do your best to have faith that he only wants to be with you.
Regardless of your partner's sign, for any relationship to be successful, you need trust, respect, open communication, and compromise.
For Scorpios, your challenge is that you're stubborn, hesitant to trust, and like to be in control. When you find somebody who is worthwhile, you may need to soften these qualities a tad to maintain a good relationship. But you should also be with somebody who loves and accepts the person you are.
