Two teenage girls were allegedly gang raped by ten men on a park bench after they were drugged and threatened with broken glass and bottles.
Four men aged between 19 and 22 have now been charged with 40 offences each over the sickening alleged attack in Brisbane’s south on December 28.
Police allege two 15-year-old girls met up with two of the men at Woodridge train station to drink alcohol and smoke cannabis.
The girls were allegedly driven to Karawatha quarry where two cars full of eight other men mainly of African appearance were waiting.
But when they asked to go home they were allegedly taken to Calamvale District Park and gang raped.
Police have also alleged the victims were given ‘stupefying drugs’ during the ordeal.
‘There is when the acts of rape occurred between the three known offenders, as well as between the other seven persons,’ Police prosecutor Peri Cardiff told Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday morning, the Courier Mail reported.
‘Those acts of rape I understand occurred at a park in Calamvale district after the two children had asked to be taken home.’
Ms Cardiff also told the court the teenage girls were allegedly threatened with ‘broken glass and bottles’ but it is not yet known who was responsible.
A 19-year-old man from Woodridge and a 20-year-old refugee from Hillcrest were charged with 40 offences each on Friday including rape and indecent treatment of a child under 16.
The 19-year-old was remanded in custody until February 1 and the 20-year-old remanded until February 22.
Two more men, aged 21 and 22, have also been charged with 40 offences each later on Saturday and will appear in court on Monday.
Police raided the home of the 20-year-old where they identified clothing which matched CCTV footage taken on the night of the incident.
Ms Cardiff said the man was more easily identifiable than the other alleged offenders who were all of African appearance.
Legal Aid lawyer Megan Jones said her client denies taking part in the offending but said he accepted he was present.
Investigators are also carrying out DNA testing on a condom allegedly linked to the 20-year-old.
Magistrate Brian Kilmartin said the strength of the case against the 20-year-old, a refugee, was ‘extremely strong’.
‘You’ve got compelling direct evidence by the victim. She clearly identifies him by this description, the red basketball shirt guy. When the police go to his house that equipment’s in the house,’ he said.
Magistrate Kilmartin refused bail for the alleged rapist and has adjourned his case until February 22.
He also ruled the two must undertake sexually transmitted disease test orders.

Shocking footage has emerged showing a 13-year-old girl being brutally attacked by a gang of teenagers who pull her hair and stand on her face.
The incident was captured on a mobile phone and shows the victim being set upon by two girls after an argument in Chaikovsky, in the Perm region of Russia.
The girl was attacked for allegedly spreading rumours, and the incident is now being investigated by police.

The footage shows the two teenage girls viciously beating and kicking the victim before grabbing her hair and knocking her to the ground.
The victim, who was shown being kicked in the nose, was then made to call herself vile names to the camera.
Two boys also take part in the violence along with half a dozen girls.
The disturbing scenes have caused shock in Russia, where four of the female perpetrators aged 14 to 17 were named and shamed on social media.
The group attacked the girl after she allegedly spread rumours about one of her classmates
One pupil told a news website that the girl being beaten had been accused by her peers of spreading 'dirty gossip' that a classmate had 'slept with her stepfather'.
The pupil said: 'So this girl gathered her friends and they beat her.'
According to claims, the footage shows the second beating by this teenage mob in two days.
The first involved a 15 year old girl, who was involved a dispute over a boy, according to police.

Another girl was quoted as saying: 'I know these girls. 'I was friends with them for sometime but fell out with them a month ago.
'They're a bad example for other teenagers.'
Police confirmed they are investigating both incidents.
