SHOCKING video shows a young schoolgirl being stripped and savagely beaten by a gang of vicious girls in China.
Local cops as well as the cyber-crime department are investigating the incident after footage of the 15-year-old victim of the brutal attack went viral.
The clip, thought to have been shot by a bystander, has caused a raging debate in the country over whether or not the person filming should have stepped in to prevent the vile assault continuing.
In the minute long clip the unidentified female thugs tear at the girls clothes ripping open her shirt and pulling down her jeans as the kick and slap the poor child.
The girl attempts to run away along the dirt track road but is caught and kicked and slapped again by her assailants.
As the violence unfolds a group of girls in school uniform can be seen looking on, making no attempt to assist the helpless victim.
According to local media the incident was filmed by people standing by, who opted not to intervene.
The distressing footage was posted to iqiyi.com, one of China’s most visited video sharing sites and has racked up over 4 million views since it was uploaded on January 17.
One Facebook user named Yunlei Gao wrote: “Chinese overseas students did the same thing in the USA and they ended up being put in jail from two to eight years.
“Why do we not do the same to these rude and shameless teenagers in our country?”
