Scholars condemn government casino plan

West Indies University (UWI) scholars are angry over a proposal by the government and tourism interest groups to give Jamaicans access to large casino gambling in western Jamaica, saying the decision was not notified by Jamaica's top interest groups.

A heated disagreement at UWI's one-day policy meeting yesterday to examine the game's impact on society led UWI lecturer in business economics, Daryam Ramj Singh, to condemn the government's decision earlier in the first session. "The government is on the verge of introducing casino gambling by proposing to invest $6.8 billion in Harmony Cove and Celebration Jamaican resorts.

"Other luxury resorts will also apply for permission and get permission to run large casinos" 안전 슬롯사이트
