A month has passed since Sukuna's defeat. Yuta and Maki still have some things to deal with. They feel a connection, but neither makes the first move. Where will this ultimately lead?

This is my first full-length manga. I haven't really tried writing a romantic story based on existing characters before, as I was afraid of interpreting them in a way that wasn't canon.

With this chapter featuring Yuta and Maki, I wanted to show not only the debauchery between them, but also their sensual side. I especially wanted to explore Maki a little. I've seen many artworks and fanfics portray her as someone who doesn't care about anyone or anything. After years of being bullied by her and her little sister Mai by the clan, she was finally able to open up and trust someone like Yuta. She tested his boundaries with teasing, afraid that Yuta wasn't ready yet, even though she understands Yuta's warm feelings for her. Maki allowed him to lead their act of union, which is why she doesn't dominate. Maki trusts Yuta.

Yuta, on the other hand, is the epitome of a good guy who isn't shy about openly telling anyone, whether he's a girl or a guy, that he admires them. He respects his comrades and is willing to help in times of need. Despite his immense power, Yuta hasn't become a "star" like many mages from the great clans. In the chapter, he sees ambiguous hints from Maki, but he's afraid that making the first move will alienate her, even if she loves him.
