Scammers are exploiting Telegram's slowdown to "hijack" accounts.
They're posting in various groups that the chat is supposedly being moved to a new platform and sending a link. Clicking it leads to a scam bot.
There, under the guise of "confirming participation," they ask for a phone number and a code from an SMS. After providing these, the attackers gain access to the profile and use it for further attacks, the Ministry of Internal Affairs warned.
Be careful.
