He wanted a perfect run. They just want to die in his arms.

Caleb was a perfectionist. He "save-scummed" his way through every RPG, reloading the game the moment he took damage. But when his console overloads during a final boss fight, he is pulled into the hardcore dungeon of Soul-Binder not as a hero, but as a mechanic.

Reincarnated as Lumina, a glowing Spirit Maiden bound to a stone pedestal, Caleb has one job: resurrect the dead. Unfortunately, he is tethered to the "Crimson Vipers," a party of reckless, DPS-obsessed maniacs who treat death as a strategy.

But the resurrection process isn't a simple click. To knit their souls back into flesh, Lumina must engage in [Vitality Injection].

When the Tank respawns, he needs a motherly embrace and deep nursing to cure his sickness. When the Rogue respawns, he needs a frantic, high-speed release to refill his stamina. As the party realizes that "dying" means waking up in the arms of a desperate, pleasure-giving goddess, they stop using potions and start throwing themselves into the fire just to get sent back to the checkpoint.

Trapped in a loop of death and desire, Caleb must manage a party that is addicted to his healing touch—and perhaps, learn that the only way to beat the game is to let go of perfection and embrace the mess.

Save State is a sensual, intimate Gender Swap LitRPG tale about caretaking, dependency, and the erotic side of game mechanics.
