The rather risqué results of her sitcom pilot were never seen by her legions of fans when NBC executives opted not to green light a series.
But now, Sarah Silverman has given Susan 313 a full airing on her JASH YouTube channel, according to IndieWire .
The 42-year-old comic actress went topless on the show in a scene which saw her strip off for a daring elevator ride.

Her co-star Harris Wittels also strips in a scene which features the couple - who play neighbours in an apartment block - taking part in some kind of dare.
Bizarrely, they both start taking their clothes off and dropping them from the third floor landing to the ground floor lobby before their elevator ride which is interrupted by a neighbour, played by June Diane Raphael.
'First of all when you and I did this, we were 27 and adorable. when I see someone doing this in my late 30s, it kind of makes me want to call the police,' she tells the embarrassed Susan.

The elevator ride then continues with some crude comments directed at Wittel's character before Raphael tells Silverman: 'Your breasts have held up nicely.'
The sitcom, produced by Ron Howard, was supposed to revolve around Silverman's newly single Susan attempting to return to her old life and her old apartment after ten years away.

And at the end of the pilot, Jeff Goldblum makes an appearance as Susan's ex boyfriend before the twosome strangely engage in a duet at the piano.
'This isn't a "can you believe they didn't pick this up," kind of posting,' the comic says in a clip introducing the episode. 'They probably did the right thing, but we liked the show.
'Enjoy it - trying to do something different,' she adds, while praising studio 20th Century Fox for allowing her to post the footage online.

Not a success? The star has since moved on to film another pilot - HBO comedy People In New Jersey
Silverman has since moved on from her failure and his trying her luck with a new pilot - HBO comedy People In New Jersey - starring alongside Topher Grace and Patti Lupone.
The pilot is described by Deadline.com as a 'hilarious, poignant look at life today as seen through the prism of an adult brother Carl (Grace) and sister Melanie (Silverman) living in New Jersey.
'Carl is an affable locksmith who has a definite idea of how things and people should be and when the world doesn’t conform to his vision, he resists mightily. His sister Melanie (CAA-repped Silverman) is a closet optimist who now works part-time at a department store.
'Their opinionated widowed mother Rachel (Lupone) focuses a lot of her energy on worrying about her children and why neither has settled down in a relationship.

Today on the Howard Stern Show: Everyone gets their chance to work the Dr. Laura doll into different positions, Jimmy Kimmel’s wedding gift was a bit of a let-down, and Sarah Silverman talks about current sex life, meeting the president, and being nude in films.
Early in the show, Howard said he’d been given a coffee table book about Bob Dylan that must weigh 15lbs, so he planned to top it with a 35lb book of his own: “The size of a small child. It’ll be beautiful.” Howard said he always thought the fans would appreciate a career-spanning compendium: “Like a really classy one with all the memorabilia from all the years.” The book might even feature the product of Howard’s latest hobby: “Beth says my photography is getting really good. She wants me to shoot her next cover.” Howard said he was unsure when Beth first brought it up: “I told her I’m not available. I don’t feel ready now. Now I know what I don’t know. Before I didn’t know what I don’t know.” But he trusts his instincts: “I can capture her beauty.
Big Black called in for the first time in over 5 years, explaining that he’d “been hanging in my bunker in the South Bronx.”
Big Black said he’d briefly worked as a security guard at Yankee Stadium, but he now collects unemployment. Thanks to new government policies, he’s been able–and will continue–to collect benefits for years: “I’ve been making YouTube videos…to publicize myself. To get out there, you know.”
Big Black said he’d also lost his virginity since his last appearance on the show: “She was about a 7 (rating) or so. Nothing really great.” He hasn’t gotten laid since, however–not even by the same girl. Afterward, she avoided him, giving him “kind of an excuse deal” when he tried to ask her out again: “Right now, I’d say I have no friends.”
King of All Blacks called in to rekindle his feud with Big Black: “Do you still have that jelly butt?”
When Howard asked if they’d like to host a show together, saying it’d be good for Big Black’s financial situation, King of All Blacks shrugged: “I don’t do anything for money. That’s one thing I don’t need.”
Money aside, King agreed to the show and hung up.
Big Black hung up soon after, but not before he explained why he hadn’t spoken with his family in 20 years: “I hate the world, man. That’s how it is.”
Sarah Silverman stopped by to promote the paperback release of her book, “The Bedwetter” and Howard commended her work on a recent “Saturday Night Live” retrospective. Sarah said her appearance on the special surprised her.
“I couldn’t believe I was on that,” she told Howard. “I never got a sketch that I wrote myself on the air … but recently I read them all. I went back. And they were terrible.”
Sarah added that she was also surprised when she’d landed the “SNL” gig in the first place, as she was only 21 years old at the time and a relatively inexperienced comedian. “I didn’t even know who I was comedically … I was a good stand-up but I think they were looking for girls,” she said.
Asked about a rumor that she’d once stabbed Al Franken in the “SNL” writers’ room, Sarah nodded, saying she’d been admiring Al’s “huge Jew-fro” and playing with a pencil. “It was a mistake … I really just meant to put it through his hair,” she explained.
But her aim was off and she wound up stabbing him in the temple, laughing as he screamed in pain. “I must’ve looked like a crazy person who’d just turned and stabbed someone in the temple with a pencil and laughed. I mean, there’s probably lead in his temple still,” she said.
Sarah Silverman told the crew this morning she’d had no qualms about her upcoming “Peep World” nude scene, explaining, “We’re all naked and the set is closed … we’re all in the same boat.”
Sarah said she’d accidentally slipped some lip at the camera but doubted anyone would be interested. “I have a sporty body. I don’t go in in the waist,” she told Howard. Sarah later corrected herself, saying she should have a better attitude. “I want to be as comfortable with my body as I want young girls to think that I am,” she said.
Howard asked if she’d ever been nude on home video, so Sarah laughed, “If I ever saw a video of myself having sex, I would never have sex again.”
Sarah explained it wasn’t her body that repulsed her as much as her mouth.
“It’s like I talk in tongues. You know, I’m very quiet at first but once it gets going, I can’t even control myself,” she said. “I talk dirty. I like to talk dirty … I talk about the penis.”
Asked about the time she met President Obama, Sarah she’d once made a video for his campaign and was later asked to meet him in a hotel hallway: “I was waiting in a–almost like a hallway that he was walking through and would, like, meet me on the way to another thing.”
When she wrote about it for her book, the White House had refused to confirm the story, telling her fact checker: “For what? That was a private meeting.”
Sarah said she and the President talked about movies when they met–he expressed a distaste for “bloody of scary stuff,” so Sarah joked that she hated Pixars films: “The thought of a lonely robot in space kills me.”
When the President didn’t agree, Sarah blurted out that she was going to be naked in her next film: “I was so embarrassed. I had no control over my mouth.” Sarah said the President ended their meeting by commenting that he’d have to get a copy of that movie.

Instagram ‘s nudity policy has been a thorn in the side — and mostly the front — of some women for a long time.
On Thursday night, Sarah Silverman decided to take a stand — by standing topless in front of her bathroom mirror.
The I Love You America host had posted a photo of herself standing in front of her medicine cabinet.

Between the shelves full of beauty products and medications, you could just make out a person — Sarah, a naked human female.

“We removed your post because it doesn’t follow our Community Guidelines on nudity or pornography. If you violate our guidelines again, your account may be restricted or disabled.
We ask that you post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience. Our standards are based on our global community, and some audiences may be sensitive to different things.”
LOLz, we’re guessing quite a few of y’all out there are all too familiar with that message!
She wrote in response:
“Men’s breasts are not obscene but women’s breasts are obscene (unless they’re oiled up and smashed down by sexy suspenders covering the obscene nipples) Sorry, @instagram ! You are teaching our girls well! Thanks for the guidance!
LESSON LEARNED : girls: be ashamed. Be very ashamed.”
She also posted a juxtaposition of her censored pic next to what’s allowed for a man to further make her point:

“IG took this pic down bc it was obscene. Unsexualized women’s breasts r obscene. If they’re oiled up & smashed down by, say, sexy suspenders covering just the nipples, that’s not obscene. That’s sexy!

Sarah definitely makes a great point. We know there are tons of hyper-sexualized photos all over Instagram, so the idea of censoring female nudity that isn’t intended in a sexual way seems pretty off.
