The hotel and pool area was still under construction. You have to walk down a sketchy path to a tiny beach or down the road to the bigger public beach. For how expensive it was to stay, it was not worth the value. The view at the hotel was beautiful. Menu and dinner , too poor. Location, pool, gardens. Swimming pool being rebuilt and beach a looooong walk away so quite expensive without that amenity. Quite far from the sea the accomodation is on the reef. The sink in the bathroom smelled a little. Nice cozy room, amazing seaview from the terrace, willing staff. Cactuses, plants with big thorns, no safety barrier near cliff, the whole place is under construction, dirty and full of nails. The room entrance was not cleaned. There was even plastic bottle caps right on the entrance between the bunch of dirt. The bathroom had no toiletries and no ventilation. The breakfast and friendliness of the staff at the restaurant was very poor. Poor quality. Not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Not even 1 Star should be given. So bad, we decided to leave and shorten our vacation. Needs to be more diligent with bugs extermination. Rooms had little bugs that cause an uncomfortable sleep.
