Is there a website better than Sankaku for downloading artist images ?
This is a sub that aims at bringing data hoarders together to share their passion with like minded people.
Sankaku Complex has been getting worse and worse when it comes to batch downloads, and now they even put a premium subscription to their websites. I went through various batch downloaders trying to find one that will at least download most of the images in a tag in a speed faster than a crawl, but they always fail one way or another. I thought of changing into a different booru, but there doesn't seem to be any one which has the amount of content Sankaku does. I mainly download artist tags, and these always lack tens, if not hundreds of images and videos. If there's a way I can bypass their network restriction, a batch downloader that can actually download from Sankaku, or a website that continually updates artist tags, please do tell.
Sankaku has always been a bit of a toxic place. Gelbooru and Danbooru tend to be the best.
I am also having issues as well with mass-downloading. Honestly I'm trying to download as much as I can from the site, because with the whole pay walling of certain artists and making their content only viewable with a premium subscription, they're likely to get the whole site nuked sooner rather than later. Gelbooru and Danbooru are alright, but they don't have as much content as Sankaku.

Unfortunately not. The easiest way to do it autonomously is by using Hitomi downloader at extremely slow download speeds. Even then, the program itself has some issues, and sometimes it won't download the whole tag. As you have said, Sankaku has the most content, so there's no helping it other than using work-arounds it seems.
