Sankaku Complex is proud to announce the full release of Sankaku Plus , with officially licensed manga included and available now, and subscription proceeds supporting mangaka.
The release involves a partnership with one of the largest publishers in Japan – by which the bulk of Sankaku Plus revenues will be shared with the artists who create the comics themselves – and, of course, no impact on the rest of the platform, nor any changes to pricing.
The initial launch includes titles from the “Eromanga-jima” label (yes, there is an actual island by the name of “Eromanga”, from whence the label derives its name), translated into English for the first time.
Translation of existing series is well underway and new series are being added at a steadily increasing pace – expect regular news updates on these releases. It is also easy to follow updates to an existing series by using the “open books” or favoriting features.
In subsequent weeks and months, many more additional titles in other languages will be made available as well.
Other labels and publishers will also be added in the near future, though the launch label is strictly “mens” (i.e. “hentai manga”).
A summary of the changes accompanying the launch follows.
As this is a “soft” launch, the service is being made available immediately in an evolving state. With this choice, rather than wait until a great cornucopia of manga can be made available in one go, user feedback and behaviour can instead be incorporated to make things all the better. It is the ardent wish of Sankaku Complex to make all aspects of the service even better in the coming months and years.
As always, it is largely thanks to the fantastic support of Sankaku Plus subscribers that these developments were made possible – those who who have not done so yet are exhorted to get Sankaku Plus and help speed along the platform’s future with even more content and features.
