Love the stay at this apartment very cozy and comfortable to reach. Away from the crazy traffic in the city central. Host was very attentive to when i reached out. Place was excellent for me. Place is not particularly clean, mould dust, dirt in many locations. Not hot water, no internet or television working. One night to sleep is ok. Expensive for what it is as the standards are more like hostel I was in the country for 14 days. My first and last stay was in Santiago and Puerto Plata, and they were 5 stars across the board. This brief stay of 30 minutes, was the worst experience I have had with an AirBnB stay and host. In the first 30 minutes I noticed a lot of things wrong in this apartment. Then, I noticed two colonies worth of ants from the main bedroom which had no closet- you could walk in but there were no shelves or hangers, just a few holes in the wall to the hallway leading into the guest bathroom. In this both bathrooms it appeared that someone had been doing some type of math on the shower glass windows, opened soap bars on the sink and shower ledge, there was more hair on the floors and pubic hair on the toilet seat , and I found what was attracting the ants. In the trash can, which neither bathroom had a trash bag or toilet tissue, there was a piece of toilet tissue left in the trash can with a pink liquid substance at the bottom. While respectfully expressing my request to cancel this reservation with Anivelka, she gave me a lot of excuses, initially claiming that there was no hair in the apartment because she was here today cleaning, to maybe the hair was hers because she was there cleaning, to those must be the same ants that were there earlier and came back, etc etc. While she offered to come clean the apartment and spray something to kill the ants, I decided I was leaving and would only want a refund. Small upgrades since my last time there which only made my stay that much better.
