Ever been annoyed by having to choose between your favourite armor and having decent stats? Ever felt let down that your orcish warrior was better off using a fancy-pants ornate sword instead of a proper face splitting orcish saber? Ever wonder why every single smith in Tamriel makes ebony warhammers that look exactly alike? Well that's what Armoury of Tamriel sets out to fix.
Armoury of Tamriel is a weapons and armor overhaul that sets out to separate material from design. Every weapon and armor, craft-able and found in the world in loot and in NPC inventories, in iron, steel, moonstone, orichalcum, silver, dwarven, glass, ebony, and daedric. That's over 2,000 new armours and weapons!
All non-unique weapons in every material.
All non-unique metal using armors in every material.
Unique weapon and armor pieces (like Balgruuf's Greatsword and Queen Freydis' Sword) given unique textures.
Special runic ancient nord weapons and armors craftable and found in game.
New gemstone dust items for weapon tempering.
New books purchasable from merchants or lootable from appropriate places that teach weapon and armor crafting styles.
New smithing skill tree systems (optional).
Compatibility patches for Improved Closed Face Helmets, Better Shaped Weapons, Practical Female Armors and more (optional).
This update post won't be as long as my last one which I somehow managed to turn into an essay.
Armoury of Tamriel is a weapons and armour overhaul that sets out to separate material from design. Every weapon and armour, craft-able and found in the world as loot and on NPCs, in iron, steel, moonstone, orichalcum, silver, dwarven, glass, ebony, and daedric. That's 1,158 new weapons, and 1,863 new armours! 3,021 new pieces of gear to play with!
Previously, back from before I began maintaining the mod, crafting recipes were very inconsistent. Not every recipe that should logically include wood required hafts. Some recipes of the same style, say a Dunmeri Warhammer, would have varying wood/haft requirements based on the metal used for no reason. Arrow recipes were relics from when Legendary Edition didn't have the Dawnguard arrow recipes. Armoury of Tamriel's recipes would stand out alongside other mod-added recipes as requiring unique materials.
No matter what, the crafting recipes needed to be overhauled.

What kind of modlist would you be looking for? I'm very tempted to make a small Nexus Collection that compliments Armoury of Tamriel, like hiring blacksmiths to craft for you, non-intrusive item durability, improved but not too hardcore leveled lists, but won't touch things outside of those like towns, graphics, and quests so the user can still customise the rest of the game to their liking.
I’m sorry about this, I know it’s not exactly the place to ask this, but is the Xbox version of armoury compatible with summermyst? I know the enchantments it adds can be crafted into these armours, but if both are installed, will the new weapons and armor be able to have random summermyst enchantments on them?

I'm not the one that's made the Xbox port, so I'm not aware of any changes they may have made or any patches available.
I can say that, for the PC version, if you use Armoury of Tamriel and Summermyst together with no compatibility patch then:
The new enchanted items added in Summermyst will not be named like they are in Armoury of Tamriel (like Iron Sword of Coolness, instead of Iron Basic Sword of Coolness)
New items added by Armoury of Tamriel will not naturally have Summermyst enchantments on them.
So yeah, they're compatible, but the biggest issue you'll see in normal gameplay is inconsistent item names. Hope this helps.
