Salma Hayek stuns on the cover of Allure 's August 2015 issue, showing off her famous curves in the accompanying photoshoot, which has the Frida actress going topless.
Salma, who's been happily married to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault since February 2009, admits to the magazine that she wasn't always this lucky in love -- in fact, she says she was "desperate" at one point.
"I wish I knew [when I was younger] that I was going to fall crazy in love with the perfect man," she reflects. "I was so worried, and I dated some people I shouldn't have dated. You get desperate, and you start seeing wonderful things in, like, the wrong guys. I also found some pretty good guys."
The stunning Mexican actress dated Edward Norton for four years, before splitting in 2003, and was also in a relationship with Sweet Home Alabama star Josh Lucas for almost a year, after splitting from Norton.
"But I wish I could say to myself, 'Hey, chill out. You're going to get a great husband that's going to adore you,'" she stresses. "I would have saved myself a lot of personal drama."
Salma and Francois have one daughter together -- Valentina, who was born in 2007 -- and she admits that she once considered being a stay-at-home mom. However, it was actually her husband that pushed her to keep working, although he certainly makes plenty of enough money to support them.
"I said, 'I don't think I want to work anymore.' And it was François who said, 'Oh, no, you're going back to work,'" she surprisingly shares. "And I said, 'I don't want to.' 'Well, you have to [he said]. We're not putting up with some lazy girl in the house. That's not who I married. I don't want to be deprived of your work. I want to watch it, too. And the world has not seen the best of you yet. So you cannot stop until some of that is put out.'"
Salma also maintains that she's at least partially financially independent from her wealthy husband.
"I have a system in my life that I've chosen, where my expenses from before the marriage are my expenses," she says. "And he goes, 'I know. That's why I want to marry you.' Maybe that's also part of what works great in my marriage. I still have my independence. But he likes it.... And I get a lot of respect from him."

It is far from the first time that fans have seen the Frida actress making such a brave display. Hayek has made it clear that she does not mind the occasional negative comment as she is quite confident in her stunning and curvy body.

However, even then, she does not have much to worry about, as those comments have been a rarity in general. Entirely, on the contrary, supporters flooded her Instagram page with sweet messages like the one below: “I love that you post REAL natural photos, refreshing to not see photoshopped perfection. Thank you ?.”
This male Instagrammer forgot that the actress is married to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault and penned this note: “53 fine as can be! ?You have the prettiest feet on the planet Salma I could kiss them all night long and spoil.”
The filmmaker also got an uplifting comment that read: “You seriously are the most beautiful woman ever! ???Careful young lady, you’ll break the internet!”

The only negativity seems to stem from a few particular users who have been trying to accuse Hayek of relying on body modifications in order to achieve her looks, specifically naming botox.
A critic told her: “Too much Botox :(. Not needed, Salma!”
However, it does not seem like Hayek has any intention of letting these words get to her, as she has been keeping her head high all throughout this, and has continued to engage her fans in the public space as much as possible.
Hayek responded by: “I don’t have Botox, But thank you for the advice because I thought maybe it’s time.”
The actress seems adamant that she is mostly natural. Fans will continue to uplift her with kindness and support, while doubters will probably remain skeptical of her claims.

When life gives you melons, you may have to explain to the public that they’re not fake.
Salma Hayek has gone on the record to say that yes, her breasts are real — but she can understand why fans might think otherwise.
“A lot of people said that I had breast augmentation. I don’t blame them! My boobs were smaller! So was the rest of my body,” the 54-year-old actress said Wednesday on “ Red Table Talk ,” the Facebook Watch series Jada Pinkett Smith co-hosts with her daughter, Willow Smith, and mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Her growth, however, is all natural. Hayek explained that it happened significantly during life changes like pregnancy, menopause and periods of weight gain.
“For some women, they get smaller. But there are some women that when you gain weight, your boobs grow, and other women that when you have children and you breastfeed your boobs grow and they don’t go back down, and then in some of the cases when you are in menopause, they grow again,” she said. “I just happen to be one of those women that it happened in every single step! When I gain weight, when I got pregnant and when I am in menopause.”
While her breasts “just kept growing,” she said it’s been a pain.
“Many, many sizes. And my back has been really suffering from it,” she said. “And not a lot of people talk about this.”
While the hot flashes and emotional intensity of menopause are often talked about, Hayek noted that the breast growth came as a surprise.
“I’ll tell you what they don’t tell you. The boobs grow — a lot,” said Hayek, who recently announced an HBO Max project about talking menopausal boobs.
Getting older, though, has also taught the entertainer that stereotypes about women expiring when they hit a certain age are a completely destructive narrative.
“There’s no expiration dates for women. That has to go. Because you can kick ass at any age. You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at any age,” she said. “We have the right to be loved for who we are at the place that we are. We’re not just here to make babies, we’re not just here to baby the men. We’re not just here to service everything and everyone around us.”
