At the start of the hour, Lea and Glassman convinced Shaun to walk back his resignation and return to work. Best of all, there was nothing Ms. Morrison could do about it. Even Morgan, who earlier this season lied to patient Nira about her best course of treatment for personal gain, finally saw the light. Reznick joined boyfriend Park and the other docs at the board meeting. She also shared with Park a letter she had sent to Nira confessing that she purposely failed to disclose an exploratory procedure that could have fully restored her vision. Jordan also attended the meeting in solidarity, though it did not appear as though she planned to speak. In the end, it was Andrews who finally took a stand against his crooked girlfriend. After pleading with Salen to hear Lim and his longtime comrades out, Andrews presented her with opposition research… on himself. In turn, Park returned to work; Shaun, Lea and Lim were reinstated; and Andrews reclaimed his former job as hospital president. Unclear from the episode-ending montage was whether Lim was reinstated as chief of surgery presumably she was, seeing as how Andrews serving as both president and chief became an issue in Season 2 , and to what capacity Glassman has returned to the hospital — if at all. Were you satisfied with the resolution to the Ethicure storyline? Relieved to see Salen hit the bricks? Drop your thoughts in a comment below. Talk smart about TV! We will notify you when someone replies. I hope Salen is gone. Please get her off. Allow the other characters to be who they are supposed to be. I would have liked to see a more burning Salen to the ground ending. She was bad news. I hope they do not try that plot again. That was not fun. It did feel a bit sudden an ending, after all that buildup — I thought the fight was going to last at least a couple episodes longer or something. Interesting cases tonight, too. The one with the guy who found out he had terminal liver cancer was heartbreaking. The transplant story was so heartbreaking but the recipient was so very gracious about what he had gained and experienced. There was no way he was going to let his best friend blame himself or live with guilt, which was a massive gift to the donor. Loved this episode, we have all in our work life encountered someone like Salen; slimey snakes, she got what she deserved. I used to work in IT for a decent sized Catholic hospital system. We were required to use our personal phones, and we were never compensated for it. Once again Andrews is the hero. Quite a change from season 1 but it shows the kind of growth and character you would hope for. Now the hospital has to find a way to survive despite the financial problems. She seems all in on that relationship and was clearly losing him. Andrews did the right thing despite the cost of the woman he loved, not to keep her. That said, you are correct that at the end of the day she did do the right thing. Clearly losing him?? She has completely lost him. I just wish we could have had a bit more time to see her squirm. The ending, in my opinion, was a bit too predictable, but ultimately satisfying. Talking about Morgan and Park. Park was going to break up with her but Morgan made things right by standing against Salen then telling the patient the truth. Watch the end again. She made it right. Where did you get the idea Andrews loved Salen? I think he was merely enjoying her company and the money she spent on him. He was gathering evidence which was in that folder he handed to her. He knew he was involved but Salen was the one with access to the hospital funds and she knew it. She left to protect her reputation. I thought they would do away with her like they did rosalind shays death on LA Law. This storyline pretty much killed the series for me. I hope the remaining show this season are better or it might be time fir me to check out. It was starting to kill the series for me too. But now that Salen is gone, I am glad to get back to the series. I liked the Salen character. That wide eyed sociopathic look while carrying out her devious acts was fun. I liked the Salen character, too. What a perfect description, Justin! I agree — she was the character we loved to hate. You liked Salen? She was completely evil. I disliked her to the max. I was almost ready to stop watching the show because of her. I am so glad she is gone now. Totally agree with you, she was a master manipulator. She played everyone. Bye Felicia, she had to go. Besides, she starting dating my man Hill Harper. That was unprofessional. Glad that is over with. I thought it was gonna end with someone sticking a needle in her neck. I love The Good Doctor. Sean is so cute n wise. I was ready to quit watching. Also saved my TV-I wanted to punch the screen every time she was on it. She is an awful character who has nothing about her that is even remotely redeemable. The show has a lot to do to get me to actively like it again. The Resident had similar storylines about a big corporate baddie s the hospital staff has to fight against. With all the bad stuff going on in the real world it would be nice to have the New Amsterdam of the first 2 seasons, with small victories of a staff working together in the same location. Miss the way the show used to be. To say I basically tuned out last nights episode is an understatement. I mean, it was on the tube, with every intention of watching it but I got more out of your write up. This Salen story line was terrible. I want to know what is going to happen with Glassman??? I l8ked the end result, but, the process was a bit confusing! Salen was horrible for that hospital. The Doctors really seem to care about their patients and the characters are fascinating! It was a bit anticlimactic. Not really relevant for the show. I think. Happy, happy, happy. Even her first appearance as a pretend patient agitated me. There was something annoying about her. When she was introduced as a cast member, I was very disappointed. Last night was a delicious reward. I liked the way it ended. Quite powerful to end it that way. They choose a scary lady for the roll Salen.. Yes Salem got her comeuppance deservedly. Thank you whoever was resoonsible for her boot! Search Icon. Search for: Search Icon. Search for:. Arrow Icon.
