- Camera and Photos: SafeBite AI requests access to your device's camera and photo library exclusively to scan food barcodes, nutrition labels, and meals for AI analysis. All image processing is performed in real-time. We do not store, sell, or collect personal facial or biometric data.

- User Data & History: Your scan history, allergen profiles, dietary preferences, and water/calorie tracking data are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not maintain external user accounts.

- Third-Party AI Services: When analyzing ingredients or meal photos, text/images are transmitted securely via encrypted connections to Google Gemini APIs strictly for generating dietary information.

3. In-App Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple App Store (StoreKit) and RevenueCat. We do not have access to your credit card or financial information.
