Can't log in to my website *sad panda*
**Welcome to r/WordPress**
A Reddit devoted to all things WordPress
Hello there! I'm using the most recent WP version and recently installed the Storefront theme.
I made the mistake of going into Settings and changing the "home" URL to my regular site ( http://maitribathbody.com ) because I didn't want people to not be able to find my site if it requires maitribathbody.com/wp.
Now I can't log into the site admin at all and the site isn't even coming up.
I added this to the functions.php file under the Storefront theme:
update_option*('siteurl',' http://maitribathbody.com '); update_option*('home',' http://maitribathbody.com/wp ');
If I go to http://maitribathbody.com , I get a blank page.
If I go to http://maitribathbody.com/wp , I see my home page (but it doesn't look like I designed it, blarg) and I get this error: blockUI requires jQuery v1.3 or later! You are using v1.11.1
If I click on "Log in" under "meta" at http://maitribathbody.com/wp , it just keeps asking me for my username and password over and over again. I tried resetting my password and that didn't do anything.
You will need to manually edit the file wp-config.php in your WordPress install's main directory. You can do it through FTP or maybe your hosting's File Manager.
In there, you will see the change you made for Home URL and you can change it back.
Thank you! I just did that and I can get to my site via http://yourwebsite.com/wp but I can't get to it via http://yourwebsite . Thoughts?
You can change this info back in your sql database. Login to cpanel, head over to myphpadmin find the database for the site . Follow the rest of the instructions here! You can PM if you need more help.
