Uzbekistan HEREs at the SPHERE Annual Conference, Bologna Process Symposium & CG GPD Meeting 🇷🇴

From 1–3 October 2025, Bucharest hosted a series of major higher education events — the SPHERE Annual Conference, the Bologna Process Symposium, and the 3rd Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue (CG GPD) Meeting — bringing together NEOs, HEREs, policymakers, and higher education experts from over 40 countries.

Representing Uzbekistan were HEREs team members:

📌 On 2 October, Khabibullo Nosirov delivered a presentation on “Legislative changes in Uzbekistan’s Higher Education Sector” as part of the SPHERE Annual Conference panel on HERE synergies with EU projects.

🟢 The CG GPD meeting, held under the EU-funded GLOBAL 2030 project, gathered over 100 participants and included a Peer-Learning Activity on recognition and quality assurance in education, as well as global cooperation mechanisms.

🔵 The Bologna Process Symposium (1–2 October) explored current achievements, challenges, and global dimensions of the European Higher Education Area, emphasizing peer learning and collaboration between HERE countries and the Bologna Follow-up Group.

🟣 Finally, the SPHERE Annual Conference (2–3 October) reflected on 2025 activities, shared lessons learned, and discussed priorities for 2026, with a focus on AI, micro-credentials, sustainability, and STEM.

These events collectively strengthened dialogue on higher education reform, regional cooperation, and alignment with European policies.
