SOUTH KOREA UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP 2018

Marcus Hodges

Kenya university project (Onondaga) Hello, my name is Noella Dcruz. I am a professor of astronomy at Joliet Junior College and I'm going to tell you a little bit about the solar eclipse that is going to happen on the 21 of August 2017. If you have never seen a solar eclipse before, this is your chance. JCC is hosting viewing of this eclipse starting at 11:45 in the morning and going to 2:45 in the afternoon. The partial Eclipse will start at 11:53 a.m. and it will be maximum at 1:19 p.m. At that time we will see a little thin crescent for the sun and the moon will be covering 88.4 percent of the Sun's disk. At 2:43 p.m., the eclipse will end. If it's cloudy or rainy, we'll go inside the Event Center and watch the eclipse feed. We hope to see you here August 21.
