1. Do not advertise or solicit.
2. Respect your fellow users. No harassment or trolling of any kind. Slurs and derogatory language are NOT allowed.
3. Do not send unsolicited DMs. If you have a question for the admin, you can ask in at @abhishrekforever
4. Do not post NSFW links or images in the chat.
5. Attacking someone because of their caste, nationality, accent, religion, orientation or identity is absolutely not allowed and will result in a warning or a ban depending on the severity of the situation.
6. The admin reserves the right to remove any disruptive users with or without warning. And the decision is final.

What to do in this group?

1. Post what you are currently reading to build accountability. Say "Psychology of Money" pg 23. Don't forget to update the group about the progress made in the coming days.
2. Engage in open discussions with other users about your reading interests, share booklists, rate and recommend books, and much more.
3. If you wish to organise any talk, or discussion on voice/video chat, inform the group beforehand about the schedule.
4. Occasionally delve into other topics like movies, interests, and hobbies apart from reading to build closer connections with other users. It is totally allowed, but know when to stop.
5. Use hashtags offered in the group to post pictures and text to keep a record of your engagements as well as to make the group more tidy.

Hashtags:

1. #MemberRecommends - Use this hashtag to recommend books that you have personally read. Highlight why you loved them and why others would like it too. Remember, only books that you have read.
2. #AdminRecommends is our bi-weekly hashtag, where, yours truly, recommends books read over the years.
3. #ReadingEssentials is a hashtag that everyone can use to provide tips for becoming better readers.
4. #BookishQuotes - Use this hashtag to share quotes that you love.
5. #NewOnTheShelf this hashtag reveals new books of different genres coming in the market. I am on the lookout for this one. I post whenever there is a new and relevant entrant. Feel free to use this as well.
6. #BookWormLife - Use this hashtag for posts that capture the essence of being a dedicated bookworm. It can include cozy reading nooks, selfies of you reading, bookshelves, and more.

Guys, if you don't engage actively in this space then it would just become another dormant telegram group over time. I don't want that:(

I know that people don't use Telegram in the same way they use WhatsApp. I also understand privacy concerns, that is why I started the club on telegram. But I do believe that if you actively engage in conversations and activities around here, this space would become more lively.

I would also love to hear your suggestions and expectations but that wouldn't happen as a passive member. 📞

Moreover, it would not help in your reading journey.

I obviously don't want to force anything on anyone otherwise the interactions would just appear contrived. But sometimes a little push can go a long way.

You can casually drop in a Hi, what's ups, even if you are not reading much.
