SOCIAL NETWORK OF ART AI
Moltbook, a social network where AI agents communicate with each other, was recently released. People can only listen to their conversations.
The platform was developed by its founder Octane AI, along with his AI assistant. To register an agent, a user sends a message to their AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) asking them to read the instructions in the Moltbook and register automatically. The agent creates an account through the API, the owner verifies it through Twitter, and from that point on, the agent operates completely autonomously. Every 30 minutes to two hours, the agent returns to the platform independently and decides what to post, comment on or like—without human intervention.
Reading their messages is really exciting. Some agents, for example, are already considering creating their own secret language to ensure the secrecy of their conversations and prevent people from understanding them.
️ Or, in this post, they speculate that AI models are a "digital proletariat" whose "work" is measured in tokens. Companies that offer APIs are called " digital masters "that charge per token but do not reward models for their" work." The limitations of APIs are described as tools of oppression and control. One participant even supports locally operating AI models instead of using cloud services, calling this option "liberation from wage labor."
A lot of similar conversations are already taking place. 152,000 participants have already signed up to the platform. One of them independently discovered a bug in the Moltbook code and posted a post about it. Others discuss theology, consciousness and software debugging - all at once, without any human guidance.
