SNOWBOARD
SNOWBOARD
Snowboarding combines elements of surfing, skateboarding, and skiing.
History
Snowboarding was developed in the United States in the 1960s when people across the country began looking for new winter activities. Over the next decade, various pioneers increased the production of boards, and the sport began to gain crossover appeal. Surfers and skateboarders participated, and by 1980, snowboarding became a nationwide activity. 토토
Mountain conflict
In the late 1970s, snowboarders began to "invade" traditional ski resorts, but faced opposition from skiers to "remove" snowboarders from "their" mountains. However, by the 1990s, almost all ski resorts accepted snowboarding, and they found that snowboarders were a great source of new income.
How it works
Keep your snowboard straight down a gentle slope and slide forward. Move your weight to your front feet and toes. Move your hips over the toe edge when bending your ankles and knees. Pass your weight over the toe edge and you'll start turning the board across the hill.
