A sign is an object, quality, event, or entity whose presence or occurrence indicates the probable presence or occurrence of something else. The V sign is a hand gesture in which the index and middle fingers are raised and parted to make a V shape while the other fingers are clenched. In Western astrology, astrological signs are the twelve 30-degree sectors that make up Earth's 360-degree orbit around the Sun.
