There has always been something incomplete about introductions. They ask for names before stories, as though a person could ever be understood within a handful of words. So perhaps mine should begin here.

If a name must come before everything else, then let it be Sezar Jathrein. I tend to listen before I speak, finding comfort in understanding people before asking them to understand me. Given enough time, you’ll probably find someone who laughs a little too easily and somehow turns ordinary conversations into memories worth keeping.

To me, affection has never belonged to grand declarations. It reveals itself through consistency, presence, and the smallest moments that quietly become unforgettable. I believe kindness often begins with making someone feel heard.

Stories are where I always find myself returning. I gravitate toward films that ask questions rather than provide answers, and I enjoy exploring literature from different languages, fascinated by how people across the world discover different ways to express the very same emotions.

My taste in music isn’t defined by genre, only by honesty. I’d gladly spend hours exchanging recommendations, revisiting favorite scenes, or talking about why certain stories continue to stay with us long after we’ve left them behind.

I don’t believe people are meant to be rushed, and perhaps that’s why I never hurry to know someone. I enjoy conversations that naturally drift late into the night, moving effortlessly between thoughtful discussions and uninhibited laughter.

I ask for neither perfection nor certainty, only sincerity. If our paths should ever cross, tell me about the film that left you sitting through the credits, the book you still think about years later, or the song that somehow understood you before anyone else did.

After all, introductions were never meant to explain a person. They were only ever meant to begin a story.
