INTRODUCTION OF SEVENS (CARD GAME)

Sevens is a hand shedding game that integrates domino style gameplay. Rather than placing cards on a discard pile, players must expand upon a layout of cards in a similar manner to placing dominoes against each other. This is why Sevens is also sometimes called Dominoes. keo nhacai

THE CARDS & THE DEAL

Sevens uses a standard 52 card French deck. To decide who will be the dealer, each player should take a card from the deck. The player with the lowest card deals.

The dealer should thoroughly shuffle the cards and dole the entire deck out as evenly as possible. Any cards remaining should be set aside. They will not be used for the rest of the round.

THE PLAY

Play begins with the player on the left of the dealer. In order to start, that player must lay a 7. If that player does not have a 7, they pass their turn. The first player that can lay a seven does so.

Once a 7 has been played, the next player has a few options. They may either play the 6 or 8 of the same suit, or they may play another 7. For example, if Player 1 lays the 7 of hearts, player two may play the 6 of hearts on the left of it, the 8 of hearts on the right of it, or a second 7 above or below it. If Player 2 is unable to play any of those cards, they pass their turn.

As play continues, the card layout will continue to expand until one of the players at the table runs out of cards. Once this occurs, the game is over.

WINNING

The first player to empty their hand wins the game.
