SENIOR JAVA/SCALA SOFTWARE ENGINEER FOR AUTOMOTIVE PROJECT in WROCLAW
Project Description
New automotive project is looking for an experienced Java+Scala Software Engineer for developing, updating and maintaining of Map Packaging Back-end.
Responsibilities
As Senior Software Engineer, you will be working within a team of highly skilled product owners, developers and architects. Your role is to actively:
• Design, test and maintain production level software using Java/Scala
• Review, comment and improve code written by your peers
• Integrate Client Data Services products into a fully functional software system
Skills
MUST
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Solid experience in Java (Scala is a plus), designing and building distributed, scalable and high-performance services on the JVM platform
• Extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices, covering the full software engineering lifecycle
• Experience in mentoring engineering peers in complex technical issues, ability to influence software engineering best practices within your team
• Good communication skills, ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex topics
NICE TO HAVE
• Working knowledge of embedded software
• Experience in working with Gerrit
• Analytical approach and problem solving skills
• Experience in working in the automotive industry
