Project Description
In this role you will deal with a stream of products and projects for financial industry. You will be working on the systems that form a treasury strategic platform. Successful candidate will work as part of a global team, and understand the business and flows involved as well as just the technology.
You must possess strong problem-solving skills.
Able to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner; ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
Able to develop alternative solutions that demonstrate innovative and analytical approaches to resolutions.
Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Able to work well in group problem solving situations.
Technologies used: Java, Web Services, Oracle SQL
Responsibilities
The role is for a senior Java developer to work within an Agile development team, contributing to the integration of core treasury platform within banking environment.
The candidate should have a strong focus on software quality and be able to work within a team environment.
The candidate should be able to communicate well with IT and business groups.
Skills
MUST
Must:
• 5+ years developing in Java, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, good in writing complex SQL queries and other languages or frameworks/architectures.
• Have experience with Java application integration
• Particularly must be strong in core Java and Spring Batch Integration Framework.
• Have experience in writing unit test cases in Junit.
• Oracle and/or Sybase SQL
• Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through effectively to resolution of task / issue.
