SDG+ Club: Open Vacancies

SDG+ Club: Open Vacancies

Anton Sobe-Panek

Hi, friends! Please share this post with the maximum number of your connections!

As many of you know, about 1,5 years ago I created a global online non-profit sustainable development club SDG+. It now has already over 100 members from all over the world without any marketing, so we decided to grow systemically from now on. So we need all of you to help us form the best club support team (of about 10 people) to help save the world!

We meet at the weekends and learn from world scientists, investors, and businessmen. Each member is helped to create and accomplish his/her own Individual Sustainable Development Plan (ISDP) to maximize our positive impact on achieving the SDGs! And we also cocreate the following intellectual products that would be shared with the public for free and updated once a year.

3 focus aspects:

1. SDG+ ISDP (Individual Sustainable Development Plan) HandBook - How can people practically and impactfully contribute to the accomplishment of the SDGs today

2. SDG+ Future ForeSight - What should be the SDGs of tomorrow (2030-2100)

3. SDG+ (Neo)Reasonism Philosophy Manifesto - What is the philosophy of the SDGs. Why should people care in the first place

3 focus areas:

1. Sustainable Human Capital Management (incl. people management / HR/education/knowledge management/productivity/career... - everything intellectual). S in ESG, Goal #8 (Decent work), #4 (Quality education), and all the other 15 goals, because education is one of the keys to raising awareness about all the other goals

2. Sustainable Health - S in ESG, #3 (Wellbeing for all), and all the other 16 goals in their relation to health (like #2 - zero hunger)

3. Sustainable Energy - E in ESG, Goal #13 (Climate Change) and other adjacent goals (like #7 - affordable energy, #6 - clean water, #12 - responsible consumption (including waste management), etc)

So, what 5 functions do we need help with (everything in the context of the aspects and areas indicated above):

CONTENT MANAGEMENT. Sourcing. Gathering content from the members and guest speakers and editing it as well as searching the web -> analyzing -> synthesizing new content. Organizing the content by structuring the knowledge base

SMM MANAGEMENT. Sharing. Publishing content in the club’s chat, on the club’s site, social and other media as well as promoting it on social media

ENGAGEMENT MANAGEMENT

1. Inbound. Reviewing the applications. Contacting the applicants. Clarifying the details. Organizing interviews. Adding and onboarding new participants

2. Outbound. Searching for potential new relevant participants and guest speakers, using the profile requirements. Reaching out to them via different media, establishing the connections. Sharing with them the information about the club. Inviting to apply for becoming a member (then the same steps as in the “inbound”) and/or to become a guest speaker (passing over to the event manager role (see below))

3. Managing the data in the CRM / ATS system

EVENT MANAGEMENT

1. Creating and updating the calendar plan, gathering the agenda from the participants, sending out invitations, reminders

2. Working with the speakers and the participants on their presentations

3. Engaging members to participate

4. Moderating the meetings

5. Facilitating. Fostering collaboration, synergies, and networking during the meetings as well as fostering the next steps after the meetings - follow-up meetings, tasks to the participants, etc

MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT

1. Working with the members on their membership/participation. Defining and updating their expectations and contributions

2. Monitoring the ISDPs (Individual Sustainable Development Plans) of the members. Nudging to accomplish the plans through participation in the club (speaking, content-making and sharing, networking, etc)

3. Leading the journal of members’ activity

A potential candidate can choose either to work in 1 focus area in 1 aspect and in 1 function or across all the 3 focus areas and aspects and all 5 functions at the same time. So, really flexible here, depending on your IKIGAI.

The requirements for potential candidates:

1. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

2. Excellent knowledge of the English language (Advanced / Fluent / C1) written and oral

3. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)

4. Good presentation skills

5. Higher education

6. Education/experience in one or several of the following fields: sustainable development, philosophy, innovative technologies, writing scientific articles, conducting scientific research, internet / social media marketing, community management, site creation and promotion, content management, etc

7. Sustainable lifestyle & proven interest in sustainable development (i.e. some of the following evidence: education/posts/research/work experience, etc)

8. At least 10Mbit/s stable internet connection to be able to participate in group video conferences

What do we offer:

1. Part-time/full-time options. Flexible working hours

2. Fully remote - any location and nationality

3. Decent remuneration (would appear to be at a commercial market level for developing countries (LATAM, Central Asia, etc) and at a non-profit/scholarship level for developed countries (US, EU, etc))

4. Basically, the work is like studying in the university, making research, and networking with very smart and successful people, but just getting paid for it on top of that:)

5. Teal culture

6. Every employee would be simultaneously a member, so, you'd also be helped to create and accomplish your ISDP (including your personal career, health, and sustainable lifestyle)
