SAP FI / CO Consultant — Data Migration
Location: Remote (EMEA Working Hours)

Freelancing - 5 days per week, daily rate arrangement
We're hiring for a data migration project. Our client needs two FICO experienced consultants.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Deployment Data Focal Point for assigned data objects within the migration scope.
* Drive end-to-end migration activities for assigned data objects, including: Data cleansing, Additional field mapping, Data preparation, Migration loads, Data verification and validation, Documentation, Business sign-off
* Interact closely with Business Data Owners (BDOs), Deployment Functional Process Experts, ETL Teams, Legacy Teams and other relevant stakeholders to drive migration activities.
* Support and coordinate Data Cleansing activities, working closely with Local Business Data Owners and the Product Team on data cleansing-related matters.
* Responsible for training and guiding Local Business Data Owners on the data migration process, data requirements, cleansing activities, validation and sign-off.
* Plan, prepare and request Washing Machine runs as required for assigned data objects.
* Monitor and analyze readiness reports, data quality reports, defects and migration issues.
* Identify and manage data deviations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to drive issues through to resolution.
* Drive data verification testing, execute assigned verification activities and support Local Business Data Owners throughout the verification process.
* Support the resolution and escalation of defects related to global migration tools and load tools, working with Global Functional Data Owners and Product Teams as required.
* Approve Data Migration Workbooks (DMWs) from an IT/data migration perspective, within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the migration status, readiness, issues, risks and dependencies of assigned data objects.
* Collaborate with Functional and Technical teams to understand data dependencies and impacts of global, regional and local requirements.
* Provide regular updates on migration progress, data readiness, defects and outstanding actions to the Data & Cutover Leadership / Deployment Lead.
* Support the Project Deployment Data & Cutover Lead and Deployment Lead in achieving data migration milestones and deployment readiness.
* Escalate risks, issues and dependencies appropriately and ensure timely follow-up through resolution.
You'll Need
* Proven experience in SAP data migration and deployment activities.
* Hands-on experience with data cleansing, field mapping, data loads, validation and data verification.
* Experience working as a data migration focal point / deployment data lead / DFDO within an SAP implementation or transformation project.
* Strong experience working with Business Data Owners, Functional Teams, ETL/Data Migration Teams and Legacy Teams.
* Good understanding of SAP configurations, business processes and data dependencies.
* Experience in analyzing data readiness reports, defects, data deviations and migration issues, and driving them to resolution.
* Experience supporting data verification testing and business data sign-off.
* Experience training and supporting business users on data migration processes and requirements.
* Experience with SAP data migration/load tools and Data Migration Workbooks (DMWs) is preferred.
* Experience with Washing Machine runs and data cleansing cycles is preferred.
* Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile project environment.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
* Very good command of English, both written and spoken, with experience working in a multinational environment.
* Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders in parallel and work effectively under pressure.
* Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global and local teams.
* Flexible, proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a global/virtual project environment.
