n.We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant to support a strategic transformation initiative involving the decommissioning of a middleware platform and the redesign of integrations between SAP and surrounding business system
s.
The consultant will play a key role in understanding the current IT landscape, defining future-state integration solutions, and ensuring smooth collaboration between SAP and non-SAP system stakeholders. This position requires a strong functional background in SAP SD/MM combined with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration desig
n
s.
Key Responsibil
ities
Lead activities related to the phase-out of an existing middleware solution connecting SAP with surrounding sy
stems.
Analyze current integration flows and define future-state interface archit
ecture.
Gather business and technical requirements through workshops and stakeholder m
eetings.
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and surrounding syste
m owners.
Create functional and technical specifications for new interfaces and int
egrations.
Lead workshops, alignment meetings, and design discussions across mult
iple teams.
Document integration requirements, process flows, and system d
ependencies.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall IT landscape, including SAP and non-SAP
applications.
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization during the integration t
ransformation.
Support testing activities, defect resolution, and deployment planning related to
new interfaces.
Provide guidance and recommendations on integration best practices and SAP
p
rocess impacts.
Required Skill
s & Experience
Extensive experience in S
AP SD and/or SAP MM
Strong understanding of SAP integration concepts a
nd interface design.
Experience working on middleware migration, replacement, or decommi
ssioning initiatives.
Proven ability to write functional specifications and technical i
nterface requirements.
Experience coordinating with multiple application owners and cross-f
unctional stakeholders.
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeh
older management skills.
Ability to understand and document complex IT landscapes
and system interactions.
Experience working in large enterprise environments with multipl
e integrated applications.
Strong analytical, communication, and pr
oblem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP ECC a
nd/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Knowledge of common SAP integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, EDI, midd
leware platforms, web services).
Experience with enterprise architecture, system mapping, or int
egration transformation projects.
Previous experience leading integration wo
rkstreams in global organizations.
