Elon Musk wasn't kidding about launching Tesla shorts.
Over the weekend, the Tesla CEO announced the new product on Twitter: Tesla short shorts with "S3XY" emblazoned on the back. They've proven so popular that the website went down at one point (as of publication time, it's working again).
"Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts," says the product description on Tesla's website . "Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red satin and gold trim design. Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-round with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with “S3XY” across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell."
The shorts are part of a long-running joke aimed at Tesla shorters, that is, people who borrow and sell Tesla stock, hoping for a decline in price so they can buy it cheaper and make a profit. People who are short a particular stock are often loudly criticizing the company behind it, and Musk has been waging war against shorters — and the SEC , which he considers somehow complicit in the campaign against Tesla — for years.
Even the price of the shorts are a joke. They cost $69.420, with the "420" being a reference to both weed and Musk's now-infamous tweet about taking Tesla private at $420 a share, which has gotten him in a lot of trouble with the SEC.
In any case, the shorts have apparently proven to be quite popular. Right now, they're only available in XL, with all other sizes being sold out.

This Tesla mount is specially designed to hold your ipad up on the center console lid on your Tesla. With the lid flipped up, you attach the pieces, which snap into place, and then you just slide your ipad into the holders. It comes with different sizes, so if you have a thin or thick center console lid it will be adjustable to fit. I have a 2020 Model Y so I used the biggest pieces since my console lid is pretty thin. When the pieces snap into place, the lid doesn't move at all so your ipad is held securely in place. This is super great because if I'm in the car for a long time with my niece then I can place some videos for her and she's not able to reach it to mess with it, and she stays entertained. I'm also looking forward to longer road trips with friends, they can play a movie on the ipad while I drive and not get bored sitting in the back. I had a little trouble taking them off at first, but the instructions come with a QR code which links you directly to some videos on how to take them on and off. When you're not using it, you can store the pieces in the velvet bag and keep them somewhere in your car. I was worried the rubber was going to smell bad, as a lot of rubber products do, but the rubber does not have any scent and did not leave any scent on my hands, so that was a huge plus! The plastic also seems to be high quality and sturdy. Overall I think this is well designed and super useful especially with kids or on long drives.

I just got my order in the mail and I couldn’t wait to install it. The S3XY mount arrives in a very nice box with instructions, and they also give you a nice velvet pouch that is reusable! The installation was a snap (literally) and everything works as described. I’ve got a road trip coming up so this is going to get a ton of use! I highly recommend this product :) The Dogefather would be proud lol

Seller refunded and also sent me a new stand set to make it right, great job on their part and I really appreciated the effort. Maybe I was alittle too harsh in my original review. Original: “At first it seemed like a cool idea - use your iPad instead of the laggy and slow interface of the Model 3 entertainment system. But after the second use I gently removed my iPad Pro and heard the tab on one of the mounts snap and break off. I’d like a refund for this cheap plastic disappointment.”

Over priced and not completely stable. I’d prefer something that doesn’t keep the console option

My main gripe with the product is that you cannot use a case and unclicking it is hard to do but otherwise it keeps the iPad secure in a good viewing angle and is overall just a good product... Have a feeling overtime that the mechanism that clicks it in place will break but we'll see

This company is fantastic!! First one I got had a broken tab. I reached out to them directly and immediately got a response. Shipped next day air and its a perfect fit. Works with or with out console cover. Very snug fit. Im just really happy with the responsiveness of this company. They also sent a couple extra goodies for the hassle. I would highly recommend them. First class!!!

Tablet mount

Very pleased with this mount for my Galaxy Tablet. It snaps in to the console perfectly and securely holds the tablet. It is well made a may be a bit pricey but still well worth it to get additional use of the tablet for Waze, games and emails.

Work great. A bit pricey for 2 pieces of plastic You need to watch out when removing Push down slowly and pull back
