Here again is a work of Sakaguchi which demonstrates (if there is still any need) the immense talent of this author. This time, he's produced a historical manga, which unfolds in Yugoslavia during World War II... It's not especially happy, and I fear things will not work out in the end.
Increasingly fascinating. This takes the form of a grand mosaic with five or six principal characters. Not at all Manichaean [seeing the world in black and white, lacking nuance], full of sensitivity.

This manga is based on the video game Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is a summarizing story of what happens at the beginning of Metroid Prime 2.
What is happiness? What's the point of living the way I do, day in and day out? Twenty-five hundred years ago, in his youth, Buddha (Shakyamuni) had the same nagging questions that we do today. He never avoided them or gave up the search for answers, but devoted himself earnestly to discovering the meaning of life. That search is the starting point of Buddhism. Precisely because he agonized more than others, Buddha also attained a happiness greater than that of anyone else. In our desire to live with strength and good cheer, the life of Buddha is sure to provide invaluable insight.

The youth of Tatsumiya Island lived ordinary lives, but their peaceful existence was all a lie. The invasion of the Festum, the shining golden enemy, transforms their peaceful island into a high-tech military fortress. Toh Ubukata, the series organizer and script writer, novelizes the hit anime series. The beginning of a whole new Fafner, this novel includes the thoughts of Soshi, Maya, Shoko, and more that didn't appear in the anime series, along with battles of the Fafner and Festum in Ubukata's exciting style.

Nanase Takeshi is a normal high-school student with a slightly traumatic past. You could say he's hard-working but in reality, he really cares about what others think about him. For some reason, he is going out with his childhood friend, Isoshima Kurumi, but otherwise, he's a pretty normal guy. One day, however, he sees a girl wearing a uniform he had never seen before, who had collapsed on his school grounds. She is Aiba Mui and her appearance marks the beginning to a series of weird incidents. She once said, "to be honest, I'm a magic user and sorry... I turned you into one too."

These two-volumes manga are the prototypes for the "'Wolf Guy Series" novels, especially for the first two novels volumes entitled "Ookami no Monshou" (狼の紋章) and "Ookami no Enka" (狼の怨歌).
The series has been readapted with a more violent and mature setting in 2007 by Yoshiaki Tabata and Yuuki Yugo. This new adaptation is known as Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou.
The heart-racing sequel to Crush Gear Turbo makes its debut! Masaru Mahha loves everything about Gear Fighting, and together with Garuda Phoenix, he has succeeded in defeating all his opponents... all except Yuu Akusawa, a professional gear fighter! It's time for the new generation of fighters to enter the coliseum, so start your engines and burn rubber!
