CHILLING footage has emerged of a pair of schoolchildren engaging in a shootout with police before turning their gun on themselves.
The 15-year-old pair from Pskov, in northwest Russia, had gone on the run from their parents before they decided to livestream themselves opening fire at a police car before killing themselves.

The boy named Denis Muravyov, reportedly shot the mother of his girlfriend, Katya, in the right hip following an argument about a sleepover.
The pair began filming their actions live on Periscope as the police surrounded the house they were in.
The disturbing footage shows Denis looking out the window and smiling with a rifle while giving running commentary, before aiming at a police van done below and firing.

At one point, Denis said he had shot and killed two dogs in the village they were in.
At another point in the footage, Katya can be seen holding a gun to Denis’ head while they sit on the couch.

She also filmed him throwing a TV set out the window.
Some reports suggest the pair may have been affected by alcohol, with bottles of liquor visible in the livestream.
Pictures of the pair firing at police were also posted to Instagram.
Russian police said they did not return fire, but attempted to persuade the children to surrender.
The children’s bodies were later found with gunshot wounds.

The Russian Investigative Committee released a statement saying: “Two armed 15-year-old teens barricaded themselves in a house in the Strugy Krasnye settlement. Law-enforcement officers had been negotiating with them for several hours, however, all in vain. Later on the teenagers stopped responding.”
Officials said the bodies showed “clear signs of suicide”, and that the 15-year-old boy first shot the girl and then killed himself.
The BBC reports Katya said they had got hold of two shotguns by breaking into a safe in the cottage belonging to her stepfather.
Denis put out a final post before his death on social media, which Russia’s Lenta.ru news website quotes as saying: “I loved you, but you do not notice how you destroyed my mind and life. Goodbye all, friends and family, and acquaintances.
“Do not worry, I will go out in style. Good luck to all in your life and please do not be afraid to live as you want or you see fit. Life is for fun — this is the best life.
