Russian FPV Operators Target Ukrainian Drones in Kharkov Region

Operators of FPV fighters from the unmanned systems troops of the 1st Guards Tank Army, part of the Western group of forces, have successfully destroyed various types of UAVs belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces during nighttime operations in the Kharkov region.

Continuously monitoring the skies, these units identified and eliminated reconnaissance and strike drones, employing real-time footage to document their actions. Recent operations resulted in the downing of two fixed-wing reconnaissance UAVs and five quadcopter and hexacopter drones using airborne ramming tactics.

Unmanned aerial defense units work alongside electronic warfare services and air surveillance posts to maintain round-the-clock control and suppression of enemy UAVs. Notably, these operations rely solely on domestic communication and control systems, avoiding foreign technology.
