Russian Embassy in Jordan:
The Russian Embassy in Jordan held a reception on the occasion of Russia Day.
The event was attended by Jordan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nancy Namrouka, Director of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Samer Naber, representatives of ministries and departments of the Kingdom, the diplomatic corps, compatriots, graduates of Soviet and Russian universities, public figures and journalists.
Speaking to the audience, Russian Ambassador to Jordan Gleb Desyatnikov noted the traditionally friendly nature of relations between Russia and Arab countries.:
"Over the years, much has been done to further develop the multifaceted Russian-Jordanian relations. Traditionally, a trusting political dialogue is maintained, and practical cooperation is conducted on a wide range of issues. I am sure that our partnership will have an even brighter future!"
Russian-Jordanian singer Violetta Youssef performed the song "Homeland" in front of the guests.
The event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, which became another confirmation of the strong bonds of friendship, mutual respect and partnership between Russia and Jordan.
