In reality, this is a long-burnt house on Drange in Kristiansand, Norway.
And the worst part is there's no one else to blame

A sad-looking female Golden-cheeked Gibbon with a better life ahead… She was smuggled from the wild into a Vietnamese circus before she was confiscated in Russia by government authorities. She was then kept in a zoo for a couple of years before being transferred to a sanctuary in England.
The endangered Golden-cheeked Gibbon, also called the Yellow-cheeked Gibbon, Yellow-cheeked Crested Gibbon, the Golden-cheeked Crested Gibbon, Red-cheeked Gibbon, or the Buffed-cheeked Gibbon, is native to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. This species is born blond and later turns black.

The Peterhof Palace is a series of palaces and gardens located in Petergof, Saint Petersburg, Russia, commissioned by Peter the Great as a direct response to the Palace of Versailles by Louis XIV of France. Originally intending it in 1709 for country habitation, Peter the Great sought to expand the property as a result of his visit to the French royal court in 1717, inspiring the nickname of "The Russian Versailles". The architect between 1714 and 1728 was Domenico Trezzini, and the style he employed became the foundation for the Petrine Baroque style favored throughout Saint Petersburg. Also in 1714, Jean-Baptiste Alexandre Le Blond, likely chosen due to his previous collaborations[6] with Versailles landscaper André Le Nôtre, designed the gardens. Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli completed an expansion from 1747 to 1756 for Elizabeth of Russia. The palace-ensemble along with the city center is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Peterhof. Fountains. Grand Cascade.
The complex of the Grand Palace and Grand Cascade is the conceptual, artistic, and compositional focal point of the Peterhof ensemble.
It is a perfect fusion that has been achieved between the water effects of the Grand Cascade, and its monumental architectural form and sculptural ornamentation. There are 75 fountains made in Baroque style. 38 statues and 213 other decorations in gilded bronze, lead, and marble celebrate, in allegorical form, Russian naval victories on the shores of Baltic Sea.
The building of the Cascade started in 1715; since the autumn of the year 1716, the work proceeded to Le Blond’s altered plan. After his death, Braunstein continued the construction. The part of the work was over by 1720, but its real splendor and beauty the Cascade got from Michetti (he completed the fountain in 1723). All the statues were made of lead and they were replaced by gilded bronze copies in 1799-1806. But the major part in repairing was done by Benois in 1859-60.
The central fountain of the Grand Cascade is the Samson tearing apart the lion’s jaws. Samson symbolizes Russia and the lion – Sweden. This fountain represented Russian victory over Sweden in the Northern War.
Figures of Neptune, Mercury, Jupiter, Nymphs and ancient heroes acclaim the victory of Samson. On the top of the arch of the grotto, there are tritons (the sons of Poseidon) blowing into their shells and proclaiming the news of the Victory.
All along the edges of the steps, jets of water spouts from gilded carvings of mythological heroes and gods related to the sea: Tritons, Syrens, Naiadas, Zeus, Perceus, Pan (a god of forest), Ceres.
The water from the Cascade flows to the Gulf of Finland through the Sea Canal. This canal cuts the Park into two parts.
The Grand Cascade of Peterhof was destroyed during the Nazi occupation. In 1946-47 Russian craftsmen and restorers recreated the hydraulic system of the fountain and its decoration.

Questioning the modern world in which we are living and trying to break this individualism and the anonymity of the big city. By going into “Non-lieux” (no existing places) (subways, malls, and crowded streets at rush hours …;) and by talking to people to take photos, I break the usual way this modern world works for a few instants. I make real these “non-lieux” by creating an event that the stranger will remember.
