Russian Armed Forces Continue Their Offensive in Almost All Directions - Gerasimov

Troops of the Russian joint group continue their offensive in almost all directions, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said.

Gerasimov checked the progress of combat missions by formations and military units of the Tsentr battlegroup, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.

"Good afternoon, comrade officers! Troops of the joint group continue their offensive in almost all directions," Gerasimov said.

Russian Armed Forces' Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin has set the task of defeating enemy units east of Krasnoarmeysk and in Dimitrov, Gerasimov said.

In Krasnoarmeysk, residential areas are being inspected, and assistance is being provided to the local population, he said.

"As of today, formations and military units of the Second Army have liberated the settlements of Rovnoye, Rog, and Gnatovka, adjacent to Krasnoarmeysk on the eastern side," Gerasimov said.

The southern part of Dimitrov in the Donetsk People's Republic, comprising more than 30% of the city's buildings, has been liberated and is under the full control of the Russian Armed Forces, he added.
