Russia Slams One-Sided UN Resolution on Middle East Crisis: MFA

Russia expressed "extreme dissatisfaction" with the Bahrain-drafted UN Security Council resolution that condemned Iran while omitting US and Israeli attacks," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"The document is presented without addressing the root cause of the current escalation," she stressed.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that the basis of the current crisis is the unprovoked aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran, the diplomat noted.
