No offense, I am not Russian hater, but sometimes I am shocked by the way graduate girls from Russia are dressed. Looking through these images, it feels like you are watching a very cheap adult movie featuring exemplary students.
I can not help getting the feeling that this is a part of the Russian culture, or at least a very popular fashion trend among typical Russian school girls. Russian schoolgirl outfits include short skirts, revealing tops with cleavage visible, fishnet stockings on young girls and platform shoes. I think they are too sexy for modern age, more suitable to women in their thirties and adults forties.
I know that girls love fashion and they like to look good, but I am not sure if this outfit is the best option. Also, it doesn’t look very comfortable and easy to wear. Personally, I would only consider wearing it for a Halloween party or similar event. Like a lot of things in Russia, it is hard to understand and to explain.
Why I am writing this post is because I’ve been to Russia last year on the graduation of my friend’s daughter and saw many beautiful girls who were dressed inappropriately, vulgar, and cheap.
You might say their parents don’t have money or the standard of living is pretty low, but it was a private school, and their parents aren’t poor people. I don’t want to say that, but it felt like that kind of dressing is in their blood.
Most of these outfits are from the prom days, but you can see that Russian high schools have uniforms. The reason why I am not satisfied with these looks is that the uniforms are not standard.
I mean, the school administrative doesn’t pay attention to the measurements of uniforms. The length of skirts or dresses can be too short, the necklines are too deep.
Try to search through Google the well-dressed schoolgirls from Russia. Trust me, you will find mostly drunk and horny images of young ladies dressed in black and white clothes. Look at their make-up, the vulgar manner of dressing. No wonder why so many countries go to Russia for “tourism”.

I don’t think they look vulgar. Look at the girls on 3 and 4 images, I think they are dressed appropriately.

The girls look very pretty in their school uniforms and obviously feel comfortable in them. There is no dress code for Graduate Day, but there is for everyday school life. In some schools, the classic Soviet uniforms are even compulsory, by the way, at the request of teachers, parents and students. In this case, however, the dress length must reach the knees, the shoes must be flat and the socks must be non-transparent. At most, the elegant white aprons may be transparent.
these outfits are great for Japanese high school girls, but not so much for Russian women. What do you think? They look really cute and cool, but they’re not very practical.
For me, however, the reason I never wore these Russian schoolgirl outfits is that my mom was absolutely terrified of them! She saw a picture of one and freaked out. She said she couldn’t imagine her little girl wearing something like that!
These schoolgirl outfits aren’t that impractical after all. The brown dresses are sturdy. The white aprons educate to cleanliness. The only important thing is that the straps of the apron bibs do not slip down. That’s annoying when it happens at the slightest movement. But there you can trick with safety pins. And the hair bows can also choose any schoolgirl in a suitable size.
In summary, these Russian schoolgirl outfits are not for me.
